Hi everyone, I hope you’re all doing well! Nick, first of all, I’d like to express my gratitude to you for all the dedication and effort you put into developing such incredible aircraft for MSFS. I’ve been flight simming for 18 years, and I’m a huge King Air enthusiast. Seeing your announcement about the King Air 300 has made me incredibly excited, especially because the aircraft I fly the most these days is the Turbine Duke, partly because it gives me a little taste of the King Air experience. I’m really looking forward to the King Air and was wondering if you could share any updates about it. Could you tell us a little about how development is progressing? I know you have other aircraft ahead of it in the pipeline, but even a brief update would really help ease the anticipation! Will we get another update about it this year? Perhaps some screenshots? Most importantly—and I would be extremely grateful if you could answer this—do you have even a rough estimate of when it might be released? That would make sense since the later A36's and Barons gear are pretty much interchangeable. Also, the electrical components for the gear pretty much come from The B58 line so that absolutely aligns with what you're saying. I honestly think the Black Square community is the best sim community in our little flight sim world.

I cant remember the year but the later model A36's and Barons share pretty much the same landing gear with one another. The landing gear on an A36 is actually pretty overkill and beefy for it since it is basically the same gear you have on a baron.

I don't know if this is true of some aircraft in the Commander family, but the pitot blade depicted in my model is a combination pitot-static unit, with a tiny static port on the aft of the blade. It's only 2.5mm in diameter, but rest assured, the aircraft is not actually without a static port.

Much appreciated! I will need to check the profile again with the amphibian to see if I can get it to work. What I wonder, haven’t got the time to test it in flight, doesn’t the lever move while on the ground? I’ll be looking forward to the updated version with fix for the inertial separator. That will make the operation before take-off and after landing so much more convenient! I’ve bee flying the Grand Caravan an awful lot the last two days, as our VA just acquired our first Caravan and I’ve been flying it back to base while operating a lot of OnAir jobs. It’s an absolute dream to fly!

The standard stock sim binding Auto Throttle TO GA (or similarly named) has always worked well for me in Black Square aircraft that have GA buttons, however not every set of avionics (looking at you WT 530) supports it, and sometimes the aircraft has the button and no way to support it, either (looking at you Caravan).

The 114 is now out on the 2020 marketplace

The main alternator is the rocker switch to the right of the battery master switch.

Yes. I'm having the same issue with MSFS 2024 on PC. V1.5 installed. Engine display and the PFD aren't working. Things I've tried so far. Removing other add-ons from community folder, reinstalling twice, cold start Vs on the runway, powering on from cold start using ground power Vs APU, deleting JF Avro RJ WASM folder, enabling and disabling state saving and restarting the sim multiple times and switching between the RJ 100/85/75. Will just have to wait for now it seems.

I found a kind of solution which is not perfect but it is what it is. I have to delete anything tiller related from FSUIPC and only set it in the default msfs settings. it's a little more work if you also fly other airplanes where you set it in FSUIPC, but the only solution so far.

@rinkerbuck That might be the case at sea level, but there is plenty of torque overhead at sea level. The fuel flow will become limiting at higher altitudes, and torque will fail to keep up. ITT increase will also be added with the next update.
