Hi there, I've since discovered that the effect can be modified by changing the entry in the aircraft.cfg file: effect.0 =Exhaust_1#(A:GENERAL ENG COMBUSTION:1, boolean)#FX_ASOBO_M_REACTORHEAT_CAP10 effect.1 =Exhaust_2#(A:GENERAL ENG COMBUSTION:1, boolean)#FX_ASOBO_M_REACTORHEAT_CAP10 For example you can change it into: effect.0 =Exhaust_1#(A:GENERAL ENG COMBUSTION:1, boolean)#FX_ASOBO_HEAT_BIG effect.1 =Exhaust_2#(A:GENERAL ENG COMBUSTION:1, boolean)#FX_ASOBO_HEAT_BIG While the intensity is now almost perfect for me, the exhaust stream is too far away from the exhaust pipe... Is there any way to move the stream closer to the pipe? Thanks in advance! Best regards

@Piper201 Sorry just checked your pics again. May it be that your power lever is very low? In your second Pic it does indicate that the generator does not generate enough electricity and therefor the Stby Elec PWR is on. That is indicated by the light in the middle line. In your first Pic the switch is off and it does indicate with the light in the lower line.

In my opinion, there is obviously no need for an exaggerated glass effect on the instruments, but rather a visible, well-balanced one that does not distract users. It should be subtle yet present, something that works well for all of us and enhances the overall visual experience. For me, alongside flight dynamics and overall model fidelity, the visual presentation is extremely important—especially the cockpit details. At the moment, due to the apparent limitation of the glass effect on the instruments by Asobo Studio, the instruments unfortunately appear quite flat and somewhat underwhelming without a proper sense of glass. I truly hope that it will be possible to achieve a glass effect that satisfies the expectations of the community.

I haven’t come across any videos showcasing the v1.1 update just yet, but from your description, it sounds like exactly what I’ve been hoping for with the beta sounds. I’ll definitely keep an eye out for some footage and give it a listen when I can. Out of curiosity, do you have any kind of timeline (even a rough one) for rolling these sound updates out across your other aircraft, given your schedule?

@SteveKane Where on the ILS did it revert from? Were you on APCH mode then it reverted? Were you in HDG to intercept before it reverted (ie as you captured the localizer)? I'm wondering if the issue may be tracked down to which modes are active vs supposed to activate. I'm just curious.

It would be great to have a single tablet solution. Perhaps the BlackSquare tablet features could be integrated into the MS tablet, similar to what Sky4Sim has done. The new SWS Kodiak, for example, already includes the MS tablet mounted on the yoke. Since the MS tablet supports Navigraph charts, SimBrief, and other plugins, having everything unified in one device would be extremely convenient. Just sharing my thoughts.

@Black-Square said in Autopilot goes from VOR to ROLL when tracking VOR: Thanks for putting me back in Starship for just a couple minutes. What an absolutely magnificent machine. Indeed it is, and I'll have more to say on that in another thread. But for openers... YES! YES! Happy dance underway. It works! Gave me a bit of a scare, as I'd forgotten to update layout.json after editing the interior.xml, and the first time I loaded in, the cockpit had been eaten! After a brief moment of panic, I got that sorted. A couple of quick tests near my local VOR (it's still weird to me flying Starship near my home), and we have a winner! Here's the test results: NAV-ROLL Failover - Enhanced Version - Functional Test Test environment: Win 11, MSFS 2024 Departure: KRDG Destination: KPHL Intermediate VOR: PTW 116.50, CRS 126 deg, 21 nm from KRDG Nav preset and pre-selected prior to departure. [image: df18dd6a-f55c-493c-b8c3-2d243bfa7d21.png] The only change I would make, is to keep the disconnect alarm sounding until silenced by the pilot, just like a normal autopilot disconnect, rather than the one-shot alarm that's in there now. It is easy to miss, like the MDA alarm (at least for me). Next step for me is to roll this into my "personalization" mod where I've changed a few things to better suit how I'd leave the plane if I actually owned one. (I would pay genuine cash money just for the opportunity to sit in the cockpit and preflight one of these for real.) Although I've not experienced this in any of your other aircraft, this should be adaptable into the Caravan's interior.xml for those experiencing the issue there, would you agree?

This is intended as a usability feature, so unfortunately, the only way to disable it is to disable tooltips in MSFS settings. We'll add this to our internal feature request tracker to see if there are any changes we can make to this tooltip in a future update. Mark - Just Flight

It also causes you to maintain rudder input at cruising speed, where the plane normally is balanced out. But if you try to get the same result with the prop_moment scalar, you'll need higher settings of around 15, which makes the plane instabile on the yaw axis, noticable when you turn the AP on. That's why i was trying a mix of both settings and increased P-factor.

@Black-Square it is not a major issue. At least I now know it isn’t a bug. The overall quality of your caravan is exceptional. At least I know now that there are no exterior sounds on the doors. If they could be added then that would add to the immersion..but equally I could easily live without them.
