@Black-Square Thank you for looking into it. It's not really a big deal, we're flying in the cockpit after all. It was just something I noticed.

No big deal, the other variable are working, even while priming. Don't know what went wrong yesterday. This works: [image: 33d06214-af14-4921-8f64-609249a61176.png] This does not work: [image: 990eedc0-3c5a-4fad-a26e-fc2d2763bda1.png] Looks like the BKSQ variables are not being updated: [image: 0580258e-11da-4474-8a10-98ce69645005.png] EIDT: After an hour of flight it looks like this. They are being updated, but not very often and the values are very low: [image: a26ff2c1-a379-4e86-bd96-12526fec3ec1.png]

It got me too. I read that sentence several times and still got focused on many other things. Thanks for logging this and for the response as well.

Okay, I did a flight into Jeffco (KBJC) since the winds were favoring 30L/R and weather was good. I flew to the NSPYR waypoint, which gives you a rather angled approach to the IF on the ILS, 10 nm from the runway. I was level at 7,000 feet (ALT). I wanted to see how the behavior switching to APPR mode, 30 degrees off the LOC would be and how she would handled the G/S. I don't switch the GPS to NAV, I always use the ILS NAV 2 selector to swap the active NAV frequencies on the GPS instead. That usually gives it a bit of delay, then when the signal is active it switches to NAV for me. I doubt that has anything to do with it though. I always bug up as well to ensure any need to enter HDG doesn't result in a turn. Anyhow, once the ILS was active and switched to green, it turned to align on the LOC and held the altitude, then the G/S came alive and the plane followed it down. I didn't disconnect the AP until around 500 feet, so it worked perfect. I wouldn't expect any more precise capture than what I had. I am also using the TDS 750 as primary.

I can confirm I was messing with stuff for 10 minutes with the battery off and was able to notice the gyro slowly wind down.

The awesome developer of AAOs answered this question over at the Avsim forum. I put the link here to the topic: https://www.avsim.com/forums/topic/644693-need-help-assigning-lvar/

well it s not a dedicated app if it s what you meant, wich act as a store platform if you thought about aerosoft orbx or flybywire apps, here by installer they speak about an executable *.exe file.

Ouch. Well, I’m sure the wait will be worth it. But I also know how much I am going to struggle to find another way to pass the time for a few more weeks and not think about flying the Duke.

Wonderful. I'm glad you've found them friendly to your system. That was always a goal of mine, since I've never been one to have the most current computer specifications either. The computer I develop on is also around six years old, in fact. I wouldn't even have put the disclaimer about the tablet in the manual if I wasn't worried about VR users, who always seem to love their tablets and other panels open in the right seat. Nope, just complete nonsense in the YouTube comments as usual Thanks for asking. I hope you enjoy!
