I love the new beta range with perfect sound and the slightly delayed power. It feels so correct
My comment is based as tech on Fokker F-50 with similar engine, both taxi and engine runup. - So I could be definitely be wrong.
If you noticed there is a yellow band !600 - 1700) on propeller RPM. This the range were governor is confused if it should in beta or Alpha, and should be avoided. A quick transit is recommended.
Holding RPM in this range and the RPM will hunt with a vibration you can feel (F-50 experience). In the Duke the RPM is rock steady.
I do not ask BS to fix this. Miracles far beyond expectation is already done.

    • But as a tip to Duke pilots, if you want to operate the engine correctly - avoid to keep the RPM in this yellow range.
