Steam Gauge Overhaul

@gabe777 EDIT. OK it seems I was incorrect in this assertion... not that anyone seemed to notice or care ... It's just engine damage that remains persistent even if all failures are OFF. However, given I have Engine damage OFF in the MSFS setting, I guess it's of no consequence.

@chrisjk24 No power all is off.. but the needle jumps a little bit. with Bat on, Eng off same needle jumps a little bit. Alt in off - the needle stands a little bit left from the 0 Alt on - Neddle goes little bit right to 0

@fakeflyer737 Works perfectly fine for me in the turbo version.

Can you change start states? Cold and dark? Seems to start with engine running and annnuciators flashing. Closing mixture doesn't work.

I m wondering if it s not a downside to install a WT package that is still in beta, does it work with non WT ? I had this issue with a kx155 + gns430 only, with the gns530 ap is able to track GPS does other aircraft with only gns430 and WT installed do the job better ? I wonder

@qqwertzde Thanks to a user on Avsim, I know now what I had to do: operate a switch to the right of the co-pilot yoke. Very intuitive, why didn't I think of this before? Maybe because I know the B350 very well and didn't see the point to read through the entire manual. My fault. Then again, why would something like that not be mentioned in the dedicated section on how to install GPS panels? This omission costed me 2 hours of search and a lot of appreciation for your work.

@tabletopandroid the system won't let me edit my previous post. Apparently it was a first-time-loading issue. Once I rebooted the game the plane worked as expected.

So just an update, I have found the file thanks to the JF Staff. When I was searching my C: drive i was never writing out the complete file name "bksq-aircraft-analogcaravan" thinking that it should still find it. After I did this i have now found it under the roaming community folder. I have moved it to the local community folder.

@skychicken check your antivirus. Most probably flagged as virus.

Hi folks. We've heard a few times via Support about this one and the answer to it is actually on the flightsim.to page for the mod's update/replacement as a known issue: "- When used with Black Square C208B Analog Mod you will hear continuous FIRE ALARM. To work around the problem remove C208B-mod\SimObjects\Airplanes\Asobo_208B_GRAND_CARAVAN_EX\sound\C208B Fire Alarm.wav file." While there are a few mentions of it on the original mod's page comments, which don't seem to have been replied to, the mod has been superseded by further work of another developer, from whose page that text has been taken - it can be found here: https://flightsim.to/file/46677/cessna-208b-grand-caravan-ex-improvement-mod. @jk40 Got similar in Caravan. Can only change altitude and Vert speed if I come put of GPS mode to nav mode.

@derek Hi Derek, I did my due diligence and I believe now that everything works as intended: the analog clock may display local time instead of UTC Fuel is first drawn from the aux tanks, so the main gauge changes not much for a while. And on shorter flights, I got the impression they were stuck :) The fact that both generators show voltage when only on engine is running is explained in the manual. So all is good. Except, of course, the missing doors. It would be so cool to have a high quality B350 that can be loaded using GSX. And adding more state saving would make the addon even better :)

@anderson Hey thanks so much for that. I've never touched Spad.next but I think this might have to be the moment I step up and use it. :)

@systemdefault if you are using GTN750 only Nav1 is available. But open a ticket and ask the developer, perhaps they can add it in a future version.
