It would be nice to be able to check for the correct switch position thru a LVAR perhaps. Regards Anderson

@lemny Correct of course. 310 is also a favorite of mine. No BVARs needed but using the LVARs still takes some work. For example here is my script for panel lights knob turning to increase. The way it is written in the 310 the Milviz defined LVAR is readable but not writable (in my tests of course). So not perfect. (L:C310_SW_LIGHTS_FLT_INST, enum) 100 < if{ 10 (L:C310_SW_LIGHTS_FLT_INST, enum) + (>L:C310_SW_LIGHTS_FLT_INST, enum) } (SPLIT:100) (L:C310_SW_LIGHTS_FLT_INST, enum) (>K:LIGHT_POTENTIOMETER_4_SET) (L:C310_SW_LIGHTS_FLT_INST, enum) 0 > if{ 1 (>K:PANEL_LIGHTS_ON) } els{ 1 (>K:PANEL_LIGHTS_OFF) } BKSQ Bonanza actually slightly simpler using the sim-defined LVAR. But you need to read the code to match potentiometer number to function. (A:LIGHT POTENTIOMETER:1, Percent Over 100) 0.95 <= if{ (A:LIGHT POTENTIOMETER:1, Percent Over 100) 0.05 + 100 * (>K:LIGHT_POTENTIOMETER_1_SET) } My initial post was because I thought people could be more patient with the 3rd party developers. I wish Asobo would care enough to define a new K: event that sets the panel light intensity not just the on/off that they provide today. But new K: events come slowly.

Thank you very much for this list I appreciate it I have tried a lot of these commands to no avail, with FSUipc, spad.next but the lvar's one does work. I did manage to get the alternators going and I did manage to get the fuel boost pumps going I will attempt the Magneto's tonight with the lvars section. I now using spad.next with the lvars,

@voice-of-reason Thanks for your answer. I have purchased the PMS50-GTN750 et I can, now import directly my flight plans from SimBrief. I love this aircraft. I hope that one day, it will be possible to integrate the beta props, as in x-plane. Cheers.

@voice-of-reason Hehe, jep… I read that whole manual and you guys have gone beyond that in your documentation. Very nice… and I love your implementation of the KNS-80/81 RNAV Navigation System in the Baron and King Air. I mostly fly VOR only and it makes it much more interesting.

@voice-of-reason Is the dev also working on the Baron and King Air? I also use the TDS and PMS 750s and it‘s annoying to remove the TDS every time I want to use the PMS.

Answer direct from the developer for you... 'This is a limitation of the 3rd party GPS addons that are used as NAVCOM2, unfortunately. Luckily, it's not impossible, and I know at least some of the GPS developers are currently working on this feature. I will make sure any changes are made to make my aircraft compatible when/if it does come to pass.'

From the developer for you all struggling with this... 'Yes, using the standard MSFS native bindings is correct, and that is how it is supposed to work. If you are setting a mixture value with a 3rd party program and the mixture control knob in the cockpit is not moving, however, that is an indication that the system is not working as intended.'

@leinsters That's much appreciated. The developer is aware of your feedback and feature request, we'll see what comes from that. Glad you're enjoying the King Air so much!

@allard From the developer for you... The percent or two lost during shutdown is from cylinder cooling, and the problems from earlier in this thread were from overzealous changes in cooling rate due to the pitch of the aircraft with respect to oncoming wind. This was fixed in time for the Analog Baron release, but not the Analog Bonanza. A fix will be included in the next update. In the meantime, if you are interested in a quick fix, contact support, and they will be happy to share a new file with you.

Reply from the developer for you... 'I'll do my best for the next update. It's a little tricky, because the hitbox starts to occlude the inverter switches, but I can probably make an improvement.' Hope that helps.

@lemny said in How can I refund the Kingair: s nearly 1:00 in the morning and I figured a few things out after 4 hours. I cannot disagree. A little poor for the cost. I'd buy the others if this changed.

@jbbz Many thanks for your reply. I was unaware of AAO and, having purchased it, I now enjoy a finer, and linear, response from elevator trim inputs. I think I was incorrect to state that the Arrow did not suffer from the standard Asobo trim response. I do now think that there is the standard Asobo delay between the initial one-click response and a continual input. However, the animation of the trim wheel movement looks continuous - with no pauses - and that masks the actual behaviour of the trim mechanism. I've made minimal use of AAO so far, but have transferred 'control' over to AAO for elevator and aileron trims together with rudder axis and it works well. Thanks for pointing me in this direction. Regards
