The flaps in the Hawk are controlled by the standard flaps control assignments within the simulator. The most likely cause of the flaps remaining in the down position will be a control on your external hardware extending them. An easy way to test this is to unplug any external hardware (joystick, throttle quadrant, etc) and then restart a flight. If that fixes the issues, then that confirms the issue will be linked to the external hardware.

If the flap standby lowering system is triggered, the flaps will be locked in the fully extended position and will require a restart of the flight to reset.

Finally, if state saving is enabled on the EFB, the aircraft will load in the state it was previously left in. So if flaps were fully extended at the end of the previous flight, they will be fully extended at the start of the next flight.

    Hope that helps.

Thank you for the feedback. It certainly won't take too much longer for the next Hawk update. A new flight model for the Hawk has been in development since the last update with the goal of fixing all the feedback we have received. These things take time, but we would rather take the time to release the update only once we are confident the feedback we have received has been addressed.

Did look but didn't find an earlier post from last year which I have now found through google and can see that this issue related to mixture = 0 setting on controller. Now tested by having Mixture 1 fully rich on my bravo and no engine shut down after pressing the ESC key. Alternative being to set up a separate Bravo profile for the Hawk and delete the mixture axis.

@jaspar11 I have just tested this and I am seeing the tail plan position indicator move between +5 and -3 by triggering the elevator trim assignments, so that sounds like there may be some other controller conflict that may be preventing the trim from working correctly for you.

The logic we are using in the Hawk is that the aircraft will always load into a flight with 100% internal fuel (this will show as an approx. 65% fuel load as a 100% fuel load will only be possible if the external fuel tanks are fitted).

One exception to this rule is if you have state saving enabled on the EFB from a previous flight, then the aircraft will load into the flight with whatever fuel was remaining in the tanks at the end of the previous flight.

If you disable state saving on the EFB, any following flights in the aircraft will begin with a full internal fuel load.

Scrub that. Just had a flight with a flight plan in and it just dominated all VOR ILS and TACAN navigation. No matter what switch selections I made I could couldn’t get out of gps nav.

@jaydens you might want to head over to the marketplace and have a wander down the jet aisle.

@martyn Sorry for all the replies. But I found out what is propably the bug. When I choose a "Direct-to" waypoint, as soon as I hit "activate direct to", the lateral navaid switches from showing the ILS, to showing the GPS direction (even though the navmode-selctor is set to Localizer). This happens on the lateral indicator on both the Garmin and the analogue gauge.
At the same time the glideslope indicator stops working on the analogue gauge, while the glideslope indicator on the Garmin show correct info.
    Hope this is understandable.
