@sender46 I totally agree that the best thing to do in the real aircraft, or in the sim, is to avoid flying in icing conditions, by closely watching the forcast weather along your planned route and not flying into clouds. And, if you do encounter icing conditions, to get out of it as quickly as possible by either climbing, descending or turning around... Meanwhile, you should also turn on the Cabin Heat.

Fine with me. Had several glitches occasionally, but nothing that a real one wouldn't do.

@yankeetendy35 From what I can tell, mine has always seemed to be worse than anyone I've talked to, so it may be something in my settings or system. Going to see if their devs can help me figure it out, but thanks for the response.

@walterbeech When you land at an airport with no transportation, you flip that switch to get a ride to base ops.

@docz Make sure the autopliot is turned off.

I to was a bit thrown at the lack of a control for the alt static air source.

Thanks. Your suggestion worked. However all I've done is reduce the ground aircraft density to zero and reduce the number of vehicles and workers to 50%. As you said, the problem then only comes on shutdown, and without the pilot appearing.

At least I can use the aircraft whilst waiting for a fix.

@chalwk Better missing it now and learning where it is rather than not being able to find it when you really need it! (In the unlikely event of a virtual cabin fire :P )

@walterbeech I've submitted a ticket for this, they're aware of it for all the Arrow variants.

Martyn just replied in another thread that JF is updating the PA-28s next week and addressing this issue.

@skjjks Which specific autopilot functions aren't working? I am successfully using the default mappings for setting Heading, Course and Altitude using the rotary dial. I don't have any of the toggle switches mapped to autopilot functions... If you do want to map the toggle switches, I recommend using only SET commands or ON/OFF commands, and not TOGGLE commands. SET commands and ON/OFF commands are intended to be used with toggle switches. TOGGLE commands should only be mapped to momentary buttons, and never to toggle switches.
