My homage to the Warrior
-
I've become so smitten with the Warrior that my Christmas present to myself this year, a project several months in the making, was this bad boy.
Behold, my home Piper cockpit. Gauge faces courtesy of FSX Times, I also have a set for the Arrows wherever I get around to flying them, too. It's going to take a minute to get used to looking at the panel and not the screen, but I'll get used to it.
Hopefully.
MSFS decided that it was going to crash while taking the completed cockpit for a test drive and won't start now. Running some computer diagnostics and reinstalling because even an empty community folder couldn't get it to load.
Just my luck 🙄 But hey it was a fun two hours.
For those who are curious:
- 11 Logitech Flight Instrument Panels (yes, 11)
- Gauges from here: http://store.fsxtimes.com/
- Real Sim Gear GNS 530 and 430
- Logitech Multifunction and Switch panel
- Logitech yoke and throttle quadrant
- Flight Velocity customized FV-1 panel
I'm trying to figure out a way I can turn my house into a DC-6 cockpit, but if I don't get MSFS back up and running after all the money I spent on this my
executionerwife will have my head.
