I flew with AI aircraft again today. At the airport "Ingeniero Aeronáutico Ambrosio L.V. Taravella International Airport" (SACO) there was a rotating aircraft. A small machine (not payware). Looked like a Zlin Shock Ultra. I also asked again in my flight group. Out of 3 people, 3 know this problem. No idea why you can't find any entries for this error. Maybe they all turn off AI air traffic like I do. ;o) You can not look at what they do for nonsense. Today one drove like crazy from the runway across the meadow and then through the terminal building.

@delta558 Thanks a lot for the reply. That's very sad. Hopefully, there will be a remedy to this behavior. Is this outside the influence of the JF developers, though?

Problem resolved . JustFlight support sent me the file to validate the registration. I still can't explain why the file was not written other than i am dealing with Microsoft Windows.

One easy solution is to zip the directory to another place and unpack where you like and deleting the original directory in the community folder. Afterwards you use the AddonLinker to create a link into the community folder. Unfortunately this have to be redone each time we get an update. Therefore I agree, having the installer to let us the choice would be great.

@frankattilio I think something's changed even after SU9, let alone a major update - a couple of smaller aircraft had some weight & feel of inertia after SU9 & they feel like they've lost some of it since. Are the SU8 prop physics stable at least?

@martyn Yes, the first thing that I did, was try to switch the GPS in the EFB, but it seems that my system is not recognizing the TDS GTNXi software. Perhaps because I have the Spanish version of MFS2020… Is there anything that I can do, such as editing some kind of .INI or .CFG file to help the airplane "find" the location of the GTN software?

@davenicoll I also have the Saitek trim wheel and it works correctly with Arrow III, as well as the other default MSFS aircraft. The aircraft trim wheel moves in the same direction as the Saitek wheel. Here is my Saitek configuration in CONTROLS OPTIONS... [image: e618e3db-f8c1-4c01-9e73-4795e0754a0a.jpg]

Is this why I’m having trouble using my Simionic G1000 software? When I try setting the heading bug, it changes back to what the aircraft’s heading bug was set to every time.

A further experiment, just did the same sort of flight in another GA aircraft (Improved Bonanza) with the same result, I didn't expect that there was a problem with the Arrow III but just checking...I'm perplexed

Further digging reveals this to be a hardware issue, not caused by the Just Flight PA-28. I'm using a trim wheel from Flight Illusion, and unfortunately they've coded it to engage when AP is turned on... which works poorly for a plane with no AP Elevator Control... I've contacted their support to ask for an added option, to be used for planes like this. (they used to have that in their old software, but a "better" version has been released since)

@captainaye You are correct... the SET commands are intended to be assigned to the ON position of a toggle switch, and will operate the way you originally intended. But, I use the GEAR UP and GEAR DOWN commands assigned to the UP and DOWN positions of the landing gear toggle switch on the Honeycomb BRAVO throttle quadrant, which also works well.

Does anyone know the status of this bug? I don't think it was corrected in the last update. Can anyone confirm/deny? Thanks

@sender46 I have trim up/down on my yoke and I use it for certain things like establishing a climb or leveling off, but I'm watching the actual travel of the trim and I'm barely using any. It's not the "tap the button and get wild swings of +-600fpm" it was right after SU8, it just feels overly effective. If I hold trim down for a second while leveling off, even backing off some forward pressure I'll still end up descending by a few hundred feet per minute. In cruise I'm barely using forward of neutral trim, I used to need like half travel.
