Same experience here. Flew the Avanti P.180 over the weekend. And then installed the CaravanPro today (Tuesday). No sound in the cockpits. Tried the BS Turbine Duke and same quiet. Rebooted the computer and restarted the simulator and all was good. Looks like the same phenomenon reported for the Starship.
Probably wants fixing. Not all users will either get lucky or go to the forums.

i am on fs'20 still. i have the avanti p180 as well. i can hear the sounds but this doesn't seem like boris's best work. the sound of the engine inside the cockpit is so muffled. changes in power and prop pitch don't sound great. when i enter into beta, there's the typical tearing sound but if i go into full beta there really isn't any difference. all-in-all i am pretty disappointed with this soundset. maybe my expectations were too high but this really misses the mark, imo.

Yeah, I'm still struggling a bit with the sounds. I have reinstalled more than once to check something hadn't gone wonky but to no avail. The sounds are working, it's just in the cockpit is disturbingly quiet, it's as if the engine noise has been mixed really low compared with other sounds. Have checked every setting I can think of but not found anything wrong. Maybe it's just me but I think I'll have to play with the in game volume settings and drop everything else down while leaving the engines at 100.
