I'm pretty sure it worked for me before. Are you sure the Visual Approach you selected has a GP? When loading the Visual you'll get a pop up saying something like "Visual Approach for referency only, no obstacle clearance assured" and "TCH:XX" as well as "Glidepath:XX". Normally you have a 3° GP but on some approaches it will just say "-" meaning there's no vertical guidance available for the visual.

Thanks for the honest reply. I appreciate it. I’m glad I’m not the only one who found some of those sounds surprising compared with the other Black Square PT6 aircraft. Hopefully Boris will have the opportunity to revisit them in a future update. I know these details can be difficult to get right, but the engine and propeller sounds make such a big difference to the overall immersion.

Many thanks to @fizzboy and @SadBucket for their thoughts on this topic. I’m not at home this week but will look more into it when I’m back at the sim. I think the viable conclusion is that (some of) the GPS units are at fault by using too much Asobo code for the autopilot.

@Black-Square ok. I deleted the aircraft and reinstalled from the 0.1.1a installer and RNAV WPT2 is still only working with NAV2 instead of NAV1 with the GNS530/MX170B combo.

Yes, there are a lot that do not have built in MSFS settings. 99% of them are in Black Squares user manual. I use spad.next for most of them.

@AlpraziTech I have now exactly the same issue as you, never happened before. The GTN 750 is not working at all, and the 530 is "working" but without GPS signal, so unable to use any of the maps. It shows as well the "NO GPS POSITION" message, and it doesn't go away at all. Playing on Xbox Series X.

We do have this logged on our internal trackers, and we'll be further investigating it ahead of the next RJ update. From our previous investigations, it appears to be a core MSFS 2024 bug, and fixing it on our side will require a rewrite of that autopilot mode's code, which is a significant time investment and needs to be scheduled into our workflow at an appropriate time. Therefore, we can't provide a specific time frame for when the next RJ update will be at this time. From my experience, the aforementioned LVL CHG behaviour may only exist on the first LVL CHG engagement of a flight and only if a specific simconnect call is being made by another program to generate AI traffic. If you experience this behaviour in the sim under those conditions, my recommendation is to toggle LVL CHG ON > OFF > ON, and LVL CHG will then behave as expected for the remainder of the flight. Mark - Just Flight
