Just wanted to make sure I am not missing anything but seems this really came without TCAS? (in real?)
Kind of thought TCAS was introduced in the 80s in the US? Interesting..
Congratulations to BS for this achievement! Amazing aircraft!!

Seems there is/was at least one starship out there equipped with a tcas 🙂 do you spot it?

maybe it could "borrow" that one from the fokker and "squeeze" it into one of the standby gauges 🙂

It's not ideal, but you can keep the GNS 430 installed for a reference with TCAS. If you dial in the traffic page in the GNS and make sure ADS-B is turned on, it'll show traffic. I'm not sure if the GNS will give aural alerts though. I don't like the older GNS units myself, as they are tedious and compared to the GTN, it's a huge downgrade in operational convenience. It's also not the best to have a display for reference at the very back of the pedestal, lol.

I would welcome an extra gauge on the panel myself, but there isn't much room. You would have to take out a standby gauge and that isn't ideal. Putting one on the copilot side where the AOA is on the captain side would be nice. I don't know the real world requirements. Obviously, many GA aircraft are flying around without a visual TCAS, and ATC expects you "see and avoid" traffic. I'm surprised a turboprop that travels up to 41,000 feet doesn't have one though.

Let’s hope @Black-Square may have a great idea for (at least) an optional „aftermarket“ TCAS to be brought in. In addition, one other thing I am missing and would kind of love as an optional one as well would be a simple cockpit/cabin temp gauge:

You have both "idiot lights" on the top left of the panel and on the copilots side a temp guage? You can change the units the display shows in the tablet. See page 88 of the manual.

Just in case this isn't clear, there is a cabin temperature LCD display on the copilot's left subpanel. Starship is the only airplane I've ever seen where this indication is so well integrated into the panel.

Yes, the cabin temp in below the oxygen pressure readout, and next to the temp selector control dials. It's so easy to miss things. That cockpit is busy!

omg, how the hell ignore that! Me stupid...
@Black-Square what do you think about that strange thing that the starship obviously in real came wihtout a TCAS? You think we could have some "aftermarket" TCAS in that thing as an option? Thanks a lot for that great bird!
