Hello,
Just wanted to add a second to this request and see if there has been consideration for it. I noticed Airfoil Labs updated their 172 NG model to support the Reality XP GNS530 and it's a great addition. https://forums.x-plane.org/forums/topic/323066-c172-ng-analog-110-c172-ng-digital-160-released/
Thank you.
At last I got it to work
None of the vars for Mixture will work, but after a lot of frustration, I ended up with this (the values are for my potientometers, might need to be changed in other setups):
@ 341 < if{ (>B:FUEL_1_Condition_Lever_Cut_Off) quit } // < 341 → Cut Off
341 682 @ rng if{ (>B:FUEL_1_Condition_Lever_Low_Idle) quit } // 341..682 → Low Idle
@ 682 > if{ (>B:FUEL_1_Condition_Lever_High_Idle) } // > 682 → High Idle
I'm having the same problem intermittently. Sometimes it flies straight, and then, after a while, it starts zig zag. I think it might be a conflict with something in the community, but it's hard to test. Has anyone solve it?
@Dingle The MSFS mod won't work in FS2024. If you still want to disable blue highlights do what I did. link to MSFS forum.
It won't work for all planes but works for Aerostar and many other planes that use default Asobo templates for mouse interactions.
That solution above worked for me. Copilot must have GREAT abs (holding their legs in the air the entire flight) - and the armrest cover for the breakers interferes with the arm but it looks pretty good. You have to make the change and then load flight simulator (or quit and restart). You also may have to have copilot weight in the right seat in the aircraft tablet and or the flight sim EFB.
Just installed TBM and DUKE in 2024, and now with the new b-event system playing in all the default aircraft, it's a bit sad to be back in a cockpit with static knobs and buttons
