Would it be possible to use the FMS for departure and enroute and to use the GNS430 for approach to shoot RNAV LPV?

Also does the Starship FMS itself use GPS or WAAS to update it's position? So I can turn off VLF/Omega and use the GPS/WAAS receivers to update it's position? then insert the approach in the GNS430 and switch the nav source from FMS to GNSS?

Do I have to load the full flight plan for both systems or can I only do the approach for the GNS430?

This is a far cry from the Airbus A320 series I'm used to so I'm still new to GA!
