@vliah Same thing happened to me recently, I posted it here: https://community.justflight.com/topic/10047/finally-got-an-ils-issue/5. It hasn't reproduced since I uninstalled the kln90B, tho I did not have it loaded into the aircraft and I don't understand why having the unit installed would cause this issue... It is also generally good practice to enter HDG mode before intercepting a localizer.

oh i have 0.1.0 but latest is 0.1.2 u think that could be the cause? EDIT : i've read the change log and there is something about it indeed so its on me thanks anyways!

Of course, but IRL I wouldn't file RNAV IFR routes without a backup GPS unit. And since I fly mostly to smaller airports where RNAV approaches are far more common... Interesting. I would have thought damage modeling would have allowed it to extend at any speed, and if you're past the extension or retraction speeds then you'd suffer effects. Is there a reason it's set to 190 instead of 200?

@RPGamerous thats so true blue bushflyers itinerary. And why not, you are from Alaska afterall! To tell you the truth, i am greatly inspired myself from shows like ice pilots, channels like missionary bush pilot etc alongwith multiple books that i have read on alaskan and papuan bush flying. So much so that i have even done my research on bush trips in alaska and shall be visiting Africa this year. Currently i am flying (in sim) round the globe. Started off anchorage and flying totally no gps and only dead reckoning hand fly. Currently about to cross into greenland and then onto europe and Africa. So far did in norseman and cessna 172 and now in dc3. Waiting for caravan pro. I like default caravan but just that its glass..

It's like this IRL with nav lights during the daylight. You can argue its a little bit to dark but its still perfectly within range. There are other areas where lights are to dark.

MS are correct in that I finally signed it off for release on Tuesday afternoon and it was released shortly afterwards. The time between my last post and now involved bug reports and chasing Bundle version coming ASAP.

It was hot starting as if the engine covers were still in place despite not visably being in place. I did a restart of the sim, un install, re install of SU5 beta and it seems to work correctly now. Shhhhhh dont wake the copilot troll :p

Thanks for the comprehensive answer. Career mode would be nice if someone took care of it, added additional planes, or at least fixed the existing ones. NeoFly is a very good option.

@Black-Square I've been using the sim pretty frequently lately and this has only shown up once for me. I find my inability to reproduce the issue quite strange.

I've been thinking about tuning the rudder as well. At pattern speeds the slip can be about ball's width. Tiniest input on the TPR pedal is required. The turn coordinator is the most difficult instruments in these ships.
