@gabe777 in a way the the Fokker is less hands on. Apologies, had to edit this. The generators, Auto Packs, anti ice and APU management is much less than the 146. Still, both are fun and entertaining to use.

@tsolis Thank you very much, this has just been confirmed by their support team! Until further notice the the failures page has to remain active to trigger random failures. regards!

@b3lt3r So, I researched a little harder. The emergency start feature was not fitted to all aircraft. If it was fitted, there is a switch just under the avionics hatch that leads down from the cockpit to the avionics bay. I’ve crawled through that hatch many times so I know it intricately! Haha. I don’t’ think this JF version models this. JF gods, I hope you’re paying attention to this post. Please provide DC start and emergency battery start. @baeflyer Well, that is most distressing. I have not had any failures but I had my failures set at real. I will be changing it to mid and see what happens.

@avionic I'm running one of two Honeycomb Bravo setups, and I'm not sure which one is used for the 4-engine binds. By default, one knob will trigger the selection of an input, e.g., ALT, V/S, HDG, etc., and the encoder will then simply bind to MSFS "plus" and "minus" functions. My other setup uses key combinations so the selector sort of acts as a "shift key" for the encoder, and HDG increase and decrease will be bound to "HDG input + encoder up/down". The 146 didn't use to respond to whatever I was using. I reported the vanishing keyboard in a ticket as well, that was the B-roll issue

I noticed when loading a flight in the air and the engines are off, it usually helps to restart the flight or load the same flight again. For me it always fixed the problem that the engines don't start. Maybe it is related to state saving, which I have enabled in the EFB options.

This isn't something we have experienced during testing on Xbox, but it is plausible that it may just be a performance-coping measure that is handled internally by the simulator on Xbox. Just speculation here as I don't have any knowledge of how the simulator works behind the scenes, but it may be that the simulator wants to keep a constant frame rate at all times, and to do that it is adjusting the scenery quality based on the current simulator's demands. So if you are flying a complex aircraft in scenery-intensive areas, it will have to reduce something to keep a constant frame rate, so it's choosing to reduce the scenery quality rather than the aircraft texture quality. I sadly suspect this is an issue that is out of our control but we will continue to monitor this issue and investigate internally for any possible improvements we can make in future updates. Hi all, The EFB errors mentioned in this thread we believe are caused when the departure, destination, or alternate airport in the simBrief flight plan does not have any METAR data available. This will cause a red "METAR" error message to appear at the top right corner of the EFB, and potentially a "Loading..." message on the OFP page. This is something we are currently investigating and we are confident a fix can be developed and included in the next update to the 146 Professional. Mark - Just Flight

@lancealotg You have to way for flying: per VOR or HDG or RNAV. This pointer shows you the next navigation waypoint if you have programed your route in the FMC. If you select VOR NAV you will navigate with the VOR and HDG and the pointer willshow you the next programmed waypoint. If you fly with RNAV the HSI will agree with the diamond showing you the deviation from the navtrack.

@dirkster That's it yup. Watch the second landing I think... they don't touch the throttle as far as I can tell. I guess they just know their aircraft so well.
