    @Sender46

    Thnx. Yep it seems one of the keys is mapped to autopilot, when the sim was updated.

    Thank you. In the first version the idle RPM was at 1000 and there it was logical that the plane starts rolling.
    Now in v2, if I pull back the throttle I have 600 RPM and the plane doesn't move. But beginning with 800-900 rpm it starts moving and I have to use the brakes. As I doesn't know the real Piper Arrow I wanted to ask pilots which know this plane.

    Definitely appreciate the update, Transponder seems to work now though Whiskey Compass is stuck on North.

    That will be fixed in an upcoming update - https://community.justflight.com/topic/1806/update-change-logs-edited-19-03-21

    In the meantime it can be fixed manually be editing the 'JF_PA28_VC.xml' file in *\Packages\Community\justflight-aircraft-pa28-arrow-iii\SimObjects\Airplanes\JF_PA28_Arrow\model*

    <PartInfo>

    Yes, it should prompt to uninstall. We'll check that here but in reality it shouldn't matter.

    Is the aircraft folder showing up in your MSFS community packages folder?

    The frame is on the outside of the glass but we've 'sealed up the edges' to fix this.

  • Thanks JF for this small detail!

    It certainly helps us too when flying hundreds of hours during development and testing!

    Tendency to roll left is bad. It's not a takeoff thing. Happens in level flight and at speed.

    I tried adding a second pilot, same weight. Still does it.

    It's not torque effect. It does not change even at flight idle vs. full power.

    Please see if the update can trim this out. If it were a real plane, I'd take it in to the shop to get the roll trim adjusted.

  • HSI no glideslope indication

    No problem.
    I tested with the default DA20 and 40 and analog C172 as these have the GNS530/430 and VOR with glideslope indication (mind though, they do not have an HSI).

    When performing an RNAV approach, the localizer indicator kinda moves as expected (though is much less sensitive as when on ILS) and the glideslope needle does not move at all (tested with the modded GNS530/430).

    Interesting thing is that when on autopilot (C172, the DA20/40 do not have one), the aircraft follows down the glideslope even though it is not depicted on the gauge. So the RNAV glideslope is actually there and the autopilot is able to catch and follow it, it is not depicted on the VOR/HSI.

    Also, as mentioned above, the localizer needle deflection is very weak compared to ILS (or to other sims).

    So this issue is probably not linked to the JF Arrow III only (I tested also the Lionheart's Trinidad and the result is the same). I will file a support ticket anyway.
