Tyre screech with gear up and super low
-
Dont ask how I found this “bug”…
In external view while flying very low (somewhere between where gear would touch down to belly touching the ground) and with gear up, there is a sound effect of tyre screeching, even if no part of the aircraft is touching the ground.
Observed when flying low over plains in Africa in msfs 2024 SU4 Beta (.19), not tried in stable.
I can post video if needed.

I just wanted to let you know that I can't reproduce this. Knowing how those sounds are coded, found it unlikely. If you wanted to send a video, though, you know where to find me.

@Black-Square Here is video of what I mean

@EJNorth Thanks for the video, and thanks for stopping it before any terrible fate met those giraffes

Well, as you might have noticed in your video, the airplane seems to bounce off invisible landing gear, and we see a commensurate dust cloud behind where the gear would be. This is obviously not what you should be seeing, and it's also something that I test with the "colliders" have to place for the aircraft's fuselage to collide with the ground. This leads me to believe that something very strange is happening on your system where the gear are somehow deployed, but not visually deployed. I don't know where to begin on recommending troubleshooting, other than usual "empty your community folder", if it's even something that you want to get to the bottom of.
