I knew one of my dedicated users would get to creating one soon enough! Please let me know if I can answer any questions or supply any data for you!

The performance numbers that appear in my manual are directly from the POH, which has incredibly detailed tables. A lot of people have been asking for this all over the internet, so anything I can do to create the best Simbrief Profile, please let me know! It would be delightful to have one in good shape by release day.

@Black-Square There is a SimBrief category in the Navigraph Forum where users can request native SimBrief profiles. The easiest option for you would probably be to contact Navigraph directly, I'm sure they would be willing to create one if you can provide the necessary performance data they require.

I have created a Simbrief profile for the Starship basing it on the Piaggio P180 profile. I used data from the Starship promotional material I had from when my father was looking at purchasing one in the 90's. You can find it here: https://dispatch.simbrief.com/airframes/share/560910_1750138737142

@DrZGard thanks for sharing. Is the starship really rnp capable? Are you sure the ICAO Equipment and PBN capabilities are correct? I think it would need a RAIM system for this?

All depends on how one is going to fly it I suppose. The equipment selection implies the GPS is going to do a lot of heavy lifting (you're not going to get that LPV otherwise I'm pretty sure), and for PBN I would probably replace every instance of GNSS with DME/DME and/or LORAN and ditch the RNP with baro-VNAV altogether.

At least how I'm going to fly it.

@jmarkows The Black Square Starship has the Garmin GNS430W installed in the console as does one of the real world aircraft which in MSFS does give further capability. (In MSFS you can fly procedures that the real world unit doesn't have available!).

                        I'm very aware.

I'm saying that those who don't wish to use it will likely want to tweak the equipment codes.

@Black-Square the above posted profile looks pretty good to me. Can you comment on the selection of aircraft capabilities. Currently i think it should be something along the lines as what's shown here (remove rnp without gns430, and gps without gps enabled in fms)

I have looked into the PBN codes and think that (without the buggy GNS430 and installed GNSS retrofit) the PBN codes should be: A1B2B3B4C2C3S1

I skipped the D ones to exclude the RNAV SID / STAR capability.

This is the Simbrief profile I put together for flying without the GNS system onboard. Correctly shows up as /Z on VATSIM using ye olde FAA equipment code:

Word of warning for those who use SayIntentions or BeyondATC: none of your equipment filing is respected, you'll still get the dummies trying to shunt you on to RNP's you can't even see in the database.

Yes and no. Simbrief does respect the equipment filing. Removing D3 and D2 PBN codes simbrief does not plan any RNAV1 SID and STARs for you. And if you don’t have them in your flightplan beyond ATC will vector you.
