    @ramonesg said in Release date:

@Raven1022 I don’t think it’s incomplete or is an early access I think is an issue with a third party add on the gps I think

And something related to the ground handling

I have no hope for SU15 today, what‘s the stand on the Dukes?
I think we all would be more than happy to have a 90% Duke now than a 99% in one, two or four weeks.

Was watching ausflightsimmer's Turbine Duke preview stream earlier today and was surprised to hear he's running it in SU14. We might still be weeks away from the public SU15 release, please reconsider it...

Coming frgom the MSFS forum. They prepare "an update about SU15"..... Which means more delays. Please release the Duke without SU15. It will be December until Asobo gets his *** moving.

@Black-Square We have no ETA on SU15... could be another week or a month.
Please release the Dukes... I swear we not going to complain about anything which does not work because of SU14. 🥺👉👈

Yes, I also would like to earnestly ask Black Square to please pull the trigger on a release. This could drag on for additional weeks yet (at minimum!) otherwise. I know the Dukes work well in virtually all respects on SU14 because I’ve watched upwards of ten YouTube content makers enjoying them on SU14 at this point. :)

Being blunt and this is just my stupid opinion, they should just release it with a big disclaimer that it's not fully ready. If anyone has issues and attempts to send a support ticket it should just be ignored because it's on them. Most people who are day one buyers I'd imagine are aware of the issues so hopefully they are fixed soon. What do I know though I'm just hyped for the release :)

Now we have to wait another month... at least. And I can already see that asobo breaks something else in this time which delays this crap again.

@TallyNole I don’t think the airplane is in early access , I believe they just wanted to release it fully compatible with the WT GNS’s! But as per seen in the videos is completely done and fully fly able so I’m up to purchase even if they have to issue an update if SU15 breaks the airplane

Yeah I'm sure the black square team planned to wait for SU15 but honestly as a customer this wait is painfull, I've been waiting on this one for sooo long and honestly it sucks to get hyped for the release and the get disapointed one time after another. From the YT previews I've seen it looks totally finished. A suberb product as all Black Square products are. So please Black Square team, think about releasing it.

I hope they don't wait for SU15. It's not Black Square's fault but getting hyped up twice then having to wait for unknown weeks again would be very annoying.

I've been watching this thread for quite a while. All the people trying to get the Dukes released before SU15 had me kind of rolling my eyes at first, but I gotta say, it really is getting quite frustrating watching this damn update keep getting delayed over and over again.

So, not that it's probably worth anything, and not that anyone asked, but this is my vote in an increasing group of votes to somehow have the Dukes released before SU15. This waiting for a finished product is something else. And you know Asobo couldn't care less that they are delaying this.

    Hello All,

I wish I had stayed up to date responding to all your messages, because there are too many to address all of them at once now! Thank you all for your input and humor regarding this unfortunate situation.

Earlier today, I believe I arrived at a solution that should allow newcomers to steer clear of the WT GNS issue, but allow those already familiar with the issue to enjoy the aircraft on SU14 or SU15 Beta with all the GPS options.

As some of you mentioned above, 90% of the issue here was a bug introduced into the WT GNS 530/430 in SU14 that affected all other GPS units and autopilots in my aircraft. The other 10% was the new SU15 ground handling physics. The aircraft should be perfectly enjoyable on SU14, but lack some of the improved physics. On SU15, I have seen strange weathervaning when parked in high winds (>30kts), which I had hoped would be resolved by now.

Thank you all for your patience. It's been a delight to see so many people excited for the aircraft after watching the pre-release coverage this week. There will be more coverage this week, and hopefully an official message from Just Flight and myself regarding how we decide to handle a pre-SU15 release.

    Blue Skies, Everyone!
    Nick C.

@Black-Square - Thanks so much for clarifying where you and JustFlight are at in regards to this ongoing SU15 dilemma, and I’m glad to hear you’ve begun considering options for a release prior to SU15. As much as I’m looking forward to the improved ground physics in SU15, in my opinion the time spent coping with the sometimes annoying SU14 ground physics is minimal in comparison to actual flying time, and I (and many others, I’m sure) are more than ready to fly the Dukes!
