Few notes for the Dukes
-
If you'd like to split these into multiple threads, give a chime.
-
I've got macros & single 2-position physical toggle switch for both of the fuel pumps. I turn them OFF and restart the flight. Upon restart, CTRL+E start doesn't work. No fuel flow despite the graphics show pumps to be on (left them physically off). After recycling the switch, functionality is restored. https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2739768875
-
The aforementioned switch interacts the model strangely. If leaved ON during reloading the bird, moving to OFF and moving ON: left pump goes to AUX and right pump goes to WING in the Turbine.
-
I've got similar setup as in 1) for the ignition switches and they behave the same way.
-
During light bulp test on the Turbine, Century IV's ALT mode doesn't light up on the pedestal nor up-front annunciators.
-
On this test TAS increased upon opening the A/C scoop. Tested a couple of times, but perhaps it is still an anecdotal test in nature. https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2739768876

Can we control the HSI 3's OBS with macros?
-
How does the FOD simulation read the surface? I'm asking this because at least Little Navmap identifies surfaces based on the texture, even if it transparent. The easiest way would be to leave the Ice Deflectors on for every landing, but I'd like to know from a scenery dev's standpoint as well.
-
Radio config is said to be a saved state, but it doesn't seem to work for the audio panel switches. I do the "restart flight - end flight" loop end the end of flight.
Edit: corrections and clarity.

Sorry for the delay. Just getting back from an audio recording trip for the Twin Commanders and the King Air.
1-3 are generally in the realm of "my aircraft don't support Ctrl-E", and "MSFS 2024's flight starting/restarting system are very confused." I will look into the loss of synchronization with reloads to see if there is an easy solution, but when I have looked into similar things in the past, they were beyond my control to fix.
-
This has been reported, and I've already fixed it for the next update. Thanks.
-
I will test this next time I have the simulator open, but the code is identical to my other aircraft where this feature has been working for years.
-
You're referring to the copilot's side localizer for use with the KNS-81? You can control the OBS simply by modifying
L:var_RNAV_OBS, number. Let me know if you have any trouble with that. -
I use the simulation variable
A:SURFACE TYPE, ENUM, which is the only way to read surface type to the best of my knowledge. I know next to nothing about scenery design, but I believe that the designer should have the opportunity to select an appropriate surface type tag while creating any custom materials. -
The audio panel switches are not state saved in any of my aircraft. Sorry for the disappointment.
Let me know if you have any more questions, or if there is anything else I can do for you!
