Must have been a coincidence then. :D

I made a 60 NM ring at it clicked exactly at that point repeatedly. Sim it is.

Thanks for the clear process! I also found today that not closing the #3 and #4 alternator switches on the AAP left side panel will prevent the top row extinguishing.... The fact that there are 2 panels both with alternators 1,2,3, and 4 does confuse me, hence the request for the deeper dive video. Although tbh, instructions as clear as the one you just provided for the overall electrical system would also be great :-)

    Hi Mark,

Thanks for your extensive answer! I now understand the usage of the switch in the real plane and totally agree it makes sense not to simulate this (that would lead to way more questions here probably :) )

I believe this would have been a bug with the "State Saving" option on the EFB rather than the 3 preset save states. We have made some changes to the state saving on our latest internal build, and I cannot replicate the issue highlighted here where engine 1 tries to start under those conditions, so this will likely have been fixed amongst the other state saving fixes. Please do let us know if you still have this issue after v0.1.1 releases and we can take another look at it.

The work-in-progress changelog for v0.1.1 can be found at the following link: https://community.justflight.com/topic/5705/update-change-logs-v1-0-released-edited-4-12-23

@wulfgar Glad to hear you got it figured out!

For future reference, if the Autopilot is disengaged via non-normal means (usually either by forcing it off with excessive control inputs or by using the instinctive cut-out switches on the back of the control columns) this will cause the 28v supplies to the Autopilot to be cut-off, and therefore the autopilot will need to be reset using that Autopilot RESET switch on the starboard console.

Once the RESET switch has been toggled, the Autopilot POWER knob should then hold when pulled up, and the white mechanical indicator should show white after a short period indicating that it is ready to be engaged.

I bought it after quite a while of back and forth because my assumption was I'd not get much use out of it as I mainly fly for a VA which wouldn't add it to the fleet. The howl and vintage gauges seduced me and I'm so glad they did. It's so enjoyable to fly and once you get your head around it, the autopilot is scarily good. It flew a brilliant ILS into Gran Canaria on a beautiful curving and descending path which left me perfectly aligned at 100ft just before the threshold... Awesome plane - my F28 and 146 are jealous of the attention it gets currently :-)

It's not the flight model, only the control interactions on the accessibility page of general settings.

Do we have any news on the PMS50 issue with power? We just need the aircraft to show "power on".

Thanks it fixed almost all same issues I had as well! Only not being able to change the ias/alt switch was in my case I found out (also) a conflict with my honeycomb brave throttle autopilot selector being in the alt position and interfering with the ias/alt switch.

@Martyn said in Reset Emergency AIr U/C Lever:

We'll look at adding a reset option to the EFB, like we already have for the brake parachute.

I love that you're willing to fix what is really our mistakes. :D

I've been inside 'a lot' of Vulcans, including shutting the odd one down during emergency training or when on exercise, I don't recall ever seeing a centre console in an operational aircraft so beaten up... but it has been over 40 years! (Personally I think it's over done).

Can we assume that the one we're flying has had 40 years worth of wear? :D

"it worked but he did not touch the TRUs at all which may or may not matter - unsure how linked the systems actually are"

The electrical system is fully modelled/simulated. Without the TRUs switched on, DC electrical power will be supplied instead by the battery, unless on the ground with the GPU connected, so eventually you'd drain the battery and lose DC electrical power.

Our sound artist is investigating this issue now and we hope to have it fixed in the first update.
