Maybe some things are not working (autohide CoPilot / Landing lights / clickspot to shut down engines)
-
Hi, first of all congrats to this wonderful product you create and thank you very much for that!
Beside of that there are existing some points for me that didnt work on V1 and not anymore on V1.1.- From beginning the landing/taxi lights are working when starting on the ground. But when extracting the lights during landing process the lights are not working and extracting anymore.
- On V1 the CoPilot was hidden when using Ctrl + 7 (I think - the short cut for the CoPilot-panel on the right side) and everything was fine to click. With V1.1 and using now Ctrl + 9 (the new combination for that) the CoPilot does not disappear and I can't see anything on that panel (so have to untick the CoPilot for that before)
- Sometimes after touchdown and parking the Vulcan the clickspots on the throttles for shutting down the engines are not working. This problem is existing since V1.1. I can't tell you why but this is happening on every second flight and can only be solved when chosing the cold and dark mode from the tablet. Otherwise the engines would continue running.
Those are the points I recognized.
Best regards

@NinoGZ Re: landing lights - they retract automatically when airspeed goes above 180 but for them to work again, they must be manually retracted via the switches in the cockpit. If you (as I do) leave the landing switch on then when selecting taxi they won't come on until you manually switch to retract and then back to taxi.
I'm pretty sure that even when I remember this, I switch landing lights on during approach and then exceed 180 again which probably switches them off again...

@brennan Thank you for your answer! My handling is the following: After take off I switch off the landing lights to the retract position. During landing when receiving 160 knots I activate the landing lights again (to the landing position) but nothing happens. I heard the auto retracting feature with 180 but so I thought at 160 it should be able to get activated.
And I hold 160 knots constantly, not exceeding 180 anymore. -
@NinoGZ strange - I will try to pay more attention next time and see what happens for me. I am certain that once back on the ground a retract/extend sequence will allow both landing and taxi lights to turn on. I do also have a screenshot from outside on finals to EGNT with the landing lights working but to be fair, that was taken on the release version not latest.

Last night I try extend the landing light during approach at around 170kt, but they didn't turn on. However they did turn on after I lower the landing gear. So I think they actually have someing to do with the landing gear.

@gzmichaelfxg Good spot - I suspect that would explain my experiences..

We aren't able to replicate the issues where the landing lights aren't extending during the approach. One quirk of the landing lights is that if the landing lights are retracted automatically at 180 knots, the landing light switches need to be moved to the RETRACT position to reset the system, before then moving them back to the LANDING or TAXI position. If the switch isn't moved back to the RETRACT position, then the lights will not extend.

Thank you for reporting the issue regarding the copilot not disappearing with the camera RIGHT SIDE CONSOLE camera. We have logged this on our internal bugs tracker and we will make sure this gets fixed in the next update to the Vulcan.

The HP Cocks clickspots are not working sounds like you may have a controller assignment that it fighting against them. Do you perhaps have any SET ENGINE 1 FUEL VALVE, SET ENGINE 1 FUEL VALVE, etc control assignments assignment to your external hardware? If so, these may be constantly triggering and preventing the throttles from moving from the idle to HP Cocks SHUT position.
