Traffic Global P3D/FSX

Hi Derek, I never got a reply to my question 6th December regarding ATR-72 Aer Lingus not appearing in TG FSX Steam. Can you advise when next update will be rolled out to fix the issue? Also, you said that the S340 propeller problem would get solved in the update. Malcolm

Go into P3Dv4.5 Scenery folder then open World then Scenery scroll to the bottom you should see TrafficAircraft.bgl TG should have changed this to TrafficAircarft_.bgl_TGbak turning off the BGL Default AI, you can turn off a bgl by adding .OFF as well, example a conflicting Airport AFCAD in the TG scenery folder AFX_EGLL.bgl.OFF this now will not clash with your HEATHROW addon airport.,

@Rich I know this is a bit off-topic, but while you're dabbling Rich, would it be an idea to also add the missing texture.shared_gen1 folder from T360 JFAI-AllAircraft (causes C152 & GAA5 to have black prop disks & heavily tinted windows). (While you're in that area, if JF are still intending to include an option to make the planes flyable as in T360, though the panels are aliased to folders, the aliased sound folders are missing in TG)

I have this issue as well. Also using Taxi2Gate OTHH. The following steps used to work on older early access builds of Traffic Global, but this trick doesnt work for me anymore. Open the airportLookup.xlsx file and change OTBD to OTHH (and delete the incorrect entry that listed OTHH as an airport in Iran). Note: I have also tried adding a new airport in this list for "Hamad International Airport", instead of changing Doha International Airport to OTHH. Open TrafficGlobalDatabase.xlsx and change all the departure and arrival entries of OTBD to OTHH. Compile in TG application, making sure to tick Traffic Global Database and P3Dv4. This would work perfectly in older versions of TG, but in 1.1.1.1 and later, for some reason there is no traffic at OTHH. Checking the log gives me a million "Unable to find available parking at OTHH. My hope is that the devs fix this and make it easier to add new airports like OTHH and LTFM.

I just tried the last view days and it works with Vox ATC.

Your problem stems from the fact you are creating a new database and not adding to it.

@ymnoor21 That link was quite a find! I'm sure it could be very enlightening to the many TG users who are encountering similar problems because of the now hugely outdated defaults. Very pleased to hear that you managed to solve your particular issue and can enjoy traffic again!

@dai-b Must admit, I'm completely mystified by this one, Dai! To be perfectly honest, since there's only 4 flightplans and one aircraft involved in a part of the world that few simmers might visit, I'm rather surprised that JF haven't just removed it.

Hello, Yes we have now taxi and landing lights on TG AI fleet in addition to logo and wing lights at night. But why taxi and landing lights are switched on when the planes are parked at stands? In this snapshot you can see Dash 8 at parking stands. They're "static" as I set them here with My Traffic Interative tool but taxi and landing light are on. Propellers edge disc are also there but propellers are stopped. Dash8 parked at night Skip.

You do not leave or need TG running when using P3Dv4.5, once you have run the compiler close TG go to the sim set traffic slider to max and you should see traffic. I have replied to this on the other post 002 is not the correct location anyway TrafficGlobal\AirportFacilities should be placed under your lowest addon scenery or airport, but above the sim base scenery folders, you need to move it if this is not the case.

@fmorgenstern No delete the entry for 002 it looks like you have a duplicate entry for TG AirportFacilities.
