Bonanza Turbine Pro Beacon Lights Not Working
-
I just purchased and installed the pro bundle, and I’m seeing that the Bonanza Turbine Pro‘s beacon lights do not illuminate at all despite showing green in power settings. I’ve tried starting from cold/dark and from the runway, same issue. Is this related to the SU4 lighting issues previously mentioned in some of the posts? Is everyone having this issue? Hot fix?
Also, this is only happening on the turbine Bonanza. The other variants, and Barons all have working beacon lights.

@capebud1 I’m assuming this is in FS24? The beacons are definitely working – but it has to be sufficiently dark.

It has been reported since the release of FS24, that the exterior lights are too dim in daylight. Here’s a link to the official forum discussing the problem. I’m guessing, that’s what causing problems for you.
Same thing with nav and strobe lights, with or without winglets, they’re also working – if it’s dark enough. At least for me.

Yeah, I love these aircrafts Bonanza and Baron... but I hope one day we have a working visual beacon during daytime.
It is possible on other aircraft it seems.@Fabbi said in Bonanza Turbine Pro Beacon Lights Not Working:

It is possible on other aircraft it seems.I just wanted to let you guys know that I spent some time today, and found an undocumented feature that can be used to achieve the desired effect. I'm quite pleased by this too, since I think this was a significant downgrade from 2020.
I'm going to use it as an excuse to write some scripts to help me manage the lighting effect files for MSFS 2024, because they are so numerous, and require so much adjustment compared to MSFS 2020. Unfortunately, I am a little concerned about implementing this, since it's undocumented, and MSFS 2024 is still changing so much with each update... Just cross your fingers for me

@Black-Square
my fingers are crossed for you. Fantastic work with the caravans, and thank you for your endless efforts to make the airplanes better and better.
