    Hey guys,

first of all: What a beautiful and deep simulation! I'm completey in love with the Starship. Thanks for such an ambitious product!

But: Haven't flown it yet but doing very extensive ground tests (and plowing through the manual) in my case absolutely nothing is saved from session to session. I leave the sim like explained in the manual (and as I do alyways).
Do I have to move or fly the plane (or t/o or something else) to trigger the state saving?

One more odd observation: the left SDU in VLF mode shows the correct FMS position but with the latitude +1 degree to the north. Didn't check the right one yet and didn't move the plane yet. But there seems to be something wrong.

    Regards,
    Zacke

Weird: There is a file in the simobjects\blsq_starship (from memory) called save.cfg (from memory) containing the items that should be saved (fuel, payload, engine hours and health, tablet stuff etc.). And it is written or updated every time I close MSFS 2024. But the values in there are alway the same as with first startup (as if the aircraft never was used before).

I'm glad to hear you're enjoying the aircraft! Starship will always be my favorite, so it brings me much joy to share it with all of you!

The state saving has been discussed at great length since SU4. It appears that Asobo introduced a bug that destroyed state saving for any aircraft that uses the recommended technique that you've found above. I know that several developers have brought this to their attention so far, so hopefully it will be fixed for SU5.

I'll check the MS position text next time I have the simulator running. It's possible something like that can arise from text formatting errors (like rounding to nearest instead of rounding down). Thanks for letting me know, and always feel free to ask any other questions you might have 🙂
