Cockpit Views - Dukes vs. Baron/Bonz Professional
-
One thing I really like about the new Baron and Bonanza Professional series is that I can move my virtual eyes very high to see over the nose, which is great for landings as well as overall visibility.
The Dukes don't have the ability to move near as high upwards; it seems that they are limited to just barely over the top of the glareshield. Is this based on the actual interior dimensions of the plane compared to the B/B Pros, or could the Dukes be modified to allow a higher seating position?

The camera's bounding box is baked into the model, so it would not be something you can adjust on your end, unfortunately. You could set a camera preset for this location, or use the native "toggle landing view" control in MSFS, both of which should ignore the bounding box. I try to create the bounding box to give as much vertical height as possible, so I suspect that there isn't much I can do in that respect without the camera beginning to clip through the geometry. I hope that answers your question. You know where to find me if you have any more!
