@Black-Square Nick, if you'd like some additional support for the Commander project, reach out to me. I'm currently in the process of replacing my Cessna 414A (after 26 years of ownership) and acquiring a Commander 900 (690D). Expecting the pre-purchase to begin on the Commander in January, with a closing in February. Happy to work with you on resources, sound, or anything else you may need.

Congratulations on the upgrade! When I get into the systems (particularly power and prop control), I will know who to get in touch with for testing! In the meantime, I have a friend who is looking to upgrade from a previous piston twin to Commander 500, so perhaps you will have some advice on Commander airframes for him.
