v1.2 still mixture and fuel flow wrong
-
Hello,
unfortunately, the mixture control behavior after reaching critical altitude is still incorrect. When leaning the mixture, fuel flow initially increases, and only after further leaning does it begin to decrease — which is not how it should work. Achieving fuel flow values close to those specified in the manuals is essentially impossible.
This remains a significant issue and, given the otherwise excellent quality of this aircraft, it appears to be the last but crucial one.

That's an Asobo thing. Unless a developer writes their own code for the mixture instead of using Asobo's then this won't change.

I hope you don’t mind me not looking for my previous post on the subject while I’m traveling, but…
When I attempted to use the new fuel flow parameters, they substantially disturbed all aircraft performance, the LeanFind mode of the EDM, and my turbocharger simulation. As you can imagine, this would be a substantial amount of work to implement, and there might be more demons hiding after that.
My plan is to do what I’ve done with other major changes. I will learn the new system and what effects they have with a completely new aircraft (the Commander 114), and when I am satisfied with how the new system is working, I will port it back to my older aircraft. I hope that answers your questions.
