The automatic FMC plan injection doesn’t work. Spawining with a different aircraft while having selected a generated flight plain (either Simbrief or Little Navmap) from the sim menu makes the on board computer have already everything configured. I’ve tried with the A36 and the Garmin 530 is completely empty. The one in the stock 172 had everything configured at avionics start.

This is a well known bug in Working Title's GNS implementation. I have brought it up with them several times, and spent many hours editing their code myself in an attempt to find a solution. I've even tried other workarounds on my end based on the unexpected behavior that I've observed, but the end result was still not consistent for all users and all installations. I just brought it to their attention again recently, but I think they are always plenty busy on new projects, unfortunately.

I've hopped onto their Discord, and managed to receive a response from one of the admins. Link to the message: https://discord.com/channels/750764704175226992/1040727793736102000/1412418077739450480

That's correct, it is due to the hot-swapping system in my aircraft, which is why you don't see it in others without that feature. It is well known amongst my community, since all of my aircraft use the same system. Unfortunately, this leaves me with only two options. I can choose to have one or two avionics options, or I can present the user with 32 separate aircraft in your aircraft selection menu. To the best I can tell, the majority of my users prefer the hot-swapping configurations, since most of them don't use the native flight planning interface.

However, I realized that I neglected to motion that this will no longer be a significant issue with any of my aircraft in MSFS 2024, since the new 2024 EFB allows you to inject the flight plan into the WT GNS at any time during the flight. This means that you can send the flight plan to the GNS with one click once the aircraft it up and running.

Is there the potential to give the users the ability to customise avionics outside of the simulator by choosing just one for that aircraft, just like the possibility to create a turbocharged, non-tip tanks entry by copying a folder and modifying a textual parameter?
