On the Altitude Awareness Panel we have MDA and RPT. I know RPT is reporting altitude, what is this used for? I've never seen this before.

Similarly I would love to know what the reporting point feature in the FMS is for/why you would use it.

It's just a memory aid. When ATC tells you, "report leaving 10,000", dial in 10,000 and get an altitude chime as a reminder.

An example of where this is useful in the sim is for when a procedure (usually a SID) tells you to turn at a certain altitude. For example this portion of the LINDZ1 departure from Aspen. The departure has you climb to 9100, turn and continue to climb to 16000. The Starship doesn't have a modern FMS that handle this automatically, and you wouldn't want to dial it in as an altitude hold, so you can put it into the RPT hold and use the cue to make the turn.

Another thing I use the RPT for is to remind me of the transition altitude/level when it is not 18000ft

Loads of uses, I do all these and set as MSA on co pilot side during approaches while setting DH/MDA on pilot side
