    PICT2565 NC-51, WK and SS1 on Scaled ramp at dawn Lg.jpg SmallCroppedNC-51.jpg

Had to have a go at this one, not a bad rendition considering no post processing and MSFS2024 Weather/Date engine only seems to go back to 1990 🤣
Couldn't quite get the reddish tint around the sun when it's that high in MSFS..

(Oh and left it chocked and pinned as safety conscious 🤓 )

    Cheers

Needs path tracing, the ray tracing is absolute garbage. Lliterally unplayable. 😃

@neinnunb I almost got lucky enough to see something like this IRL flying out of KMLB once coming home from business. Flight was scheduled for 12:05, some SpaceX launch for noon. I was hoping it was delayed a few, and looking at our flight path (surprisingly the airspace is only closed east of the Cape, you can get pretty close on the west side), I begged and pleaded with the gate agent to get me on the right side of the aircraft.

While we were sitting on a taxiway, the captain announced over the loudspeaker that if the people on the left side looked out their window, they could see the SpaceX launch while we taxied 😭😭😭

As an aside, I figured out how to take screenshots in HDR and save them as JXR and then coax them into looking mostly like what you see on the screen. For the longest time I settled for taking those overbright screenshots using Windows that look wrong even if you tick the HDR conversion option.

@Marionettework 1st one is epic....Those clouds and that lighting 👍

As an aside, I figured out how to take screenshots in HDR and save them as JXR and then coax them into looking mostly like what you see on the screen. For the longest time I settled for taking those overbright screenshots using Windows that look wrong even if you tick the HDR conversion option.

@Marionettework How are you doing so? I would like to learn how to do this as well.

                                          Thanks,
