Understanding User Preferences for Flight Plan Loading

simbrief import is the 'defacto standard' and should be able to get the API from navigraph to integrate into the starship. you should also be able to get the navigraph charts API to integrate into the tablet as other addon makers do.

Love the import feature and using it now for 70+ hours

It was mentioned here and there that there might be another patch for the Starship incoming with some new features, if this would be true I would love those changes:
-
Removing the Experimental Import warning from the MSG section. It's not really an effective warning if it's always there and as this is not real life, there is no risk of being sued if it won't work correctly

Please give us an option to turn off the automatic import on CDU startup. I might prefer to do it later, or use the diskette or not use it at all. It's not something that is normally in the plane so it's both slightly immersion breaking, and it disrupts the normal workflow with the CDU on startup.
But just to stress the main point here, I absolutely love the feature itself, often need those STARS/Approaches in there for complicated low visibility landings in mountains and it makes it so convenient to have all of the points in the plan and so easily obtainable.

Found a way to avoid the second point. I was always selecting an arrival airport before starting the flight and this triggered the auto-import later in the Starship. No arrival airport, no automatic import, good enough for me

@Tadeus72 thatβs good to know! Thanks for the advice!

@Black-Square Hi Nick!
It's really great when developers listen to their customers. It shows how committed they are to improving their systems and making the simulation even more immersive. I'm an Xbox Series X user, and as you know, things are very limited here. The option to import the flight plan directly from Simbrief is very welcome, although I still prefer manually entering everything into the CDU. What I would really like β and I know this isn't the topic of discussion β is to be able to view Navgraph charts on the tablet and to track the aircraft on their map (Simlink feature). I have no idea how complex or easy that would be to implement, but it would certainly be very useful. I miss having that feature to see airport ground positions, follow taxi routes, and so on. It would be exactly what Just Flight already does on their tablet. I hope that one day this comes to the Starship and the other BS aircraft that use the same tablet.
