    Hello fellow Duke Experts,

is there any situation during daily ops you would turn the fuel pumps on other than checking them pre-flight or for crossfeed operations? Do they usually stay off inflight with fuel pressure in the green?

    Cheers

In the Turbine version of the Duke, the wing pumps come on with the runup procedure and is only turned off once you shut down and Ng has reduced to below 10 %. At least that is the procedure in the manual.
Don't know if some IRL owners might turn it off during cruise to save a bit on maintenance

Don't own the Piston version, but I believe the boost pumps are turned on during the critical phases of flight.

For the piston, I think they're on in critical flight phases of flight for redundancy purposes, so if the engine pump fails on takeoff you won't suddenly lose the engine.

But in theory the engine pumps should be able to handle it.
