Entirely possible this is just me not understanding how to make this work in MF; Normally I just select presets from HubHop, but of course with how new Starship is, there's very few at the moment. I've managed to figure out most of the bindings I want, but the CHP joystick is only halfway there.

I've assigned a hat switch on my throttle to H:MFD_Joystick_Up/Down/Left/Right, and this works as expected on the MFD map screens to move the cursor. Setting a repeat on hold allows me to move the cursor for as long as I hold in a direction. The problem shows up on the checklists; These binds do not work unless I interact with the joystick in the virtual cockpit first, and then it only works once. I understand there is also H:MFD_PageAdvance, and I find it works as intended. However I'd prefer to just use the joystick binds, as this should also allow going backwards through the list.
Is there something I'm missing, or is this an actual issue?

A more minor issue I have is with the prop governor test switch. Due to momentary nature of the switch, even if I set a repeat of 1 ms it still visually and audibly twitches between neutral and the selected position. The actual tests don't seem to be negatively affected by this, so it's just a minor irritation from the sound of the switch. Is there anything that can be done about this?

For the CHP joystick, just send the event H:MFD_Joystick_Center when you return the joystick to center.

For the momentary switch... I can't think of an easy solution at the moment, but I didn't want to keep you waiting on the other one. There might be an easy solution, but I am very sleep deprived right now. Perhaps someone else will chime in with a good idea. Please remind me in a couple days if you don't find a solution!

Hi for the prop governor test could you not use an On Press and an On Release?

        and

Like I've done for the Start switches? I wanted to use the momentary switch on the warthog throttle so that when I get to 50% N1 or whatever I just release it and that cuts the starter switch so no forgetting to turn them off..

        Cheers

Brilliant! I figured I was just missing something. Joystick now works as expected.

unfortunately that just gives you a quick flick of the switch. The "on hold" is necessary to keep it in the desired position.

@OrangeAnon Ahh I see what you mean now, the starter has a virtual latch on it that is obviously why it works for that vs momentary

I had a similar issue with the CWS button in the Duke, and for my hardware the solution was to use the _IsDown variable. Try PropGovTestSwitch_IsDown instead maybe? Send it once and then zero it on release.
