Vertical modes wont engage
-
I'm sure it must be something I'm missing but I can not get any of the vertical modes to work they light up then shut off instantly. The autopilot works and follows the FMS plan and nothing else seems wrong. No failures. As far as I can see no conflicting bindings as I saw mention as a possiblity in another post. I'm using Spad.next and removed everything not essential for flight. I have black BS King Air which seems very similar but I'm sure its probably user error.

Do I understand correctly that you are using hardware to trigger the autopilot modes using the native K:Events?
This, from the manual's FAQ might be applicable:
"Why is the autopilot behaving strangely with hardware inputs?"
"In order to implement altitude & VS preselect and more advanced features in the easiest way for cockpit builders to access, external hardware must use the HTML events described in the 'Instrument Events' section of this manual and NOT the native autopilot events."
If you want any help finding those events, let me know.

I may be able to help. Are you adding custom client events first? This screenshot of my interface may help you see what is needed. As you see here at the bottom, I have started to add a few. You can name each custom event anything you want. I suggest making a category called "Starship" so it stands out on the list. Once you add those custom events, you can then trigger them by calling for a Simulation Event in whatever button or knob that you want on your hardware.

No sorry that was not clearer. IAS, VS, Decent just would not engage and I thought I had everything unbound. Come to find out the one thing I did not unbind was my stream deck+. I unplugged it and this flight everything is working fine. Thanks for the quick replies tho.
