Payload pax reset on walkaround mode
-
Hello! If I set all the seats as occupied using the payload tablet menu, everytime I go to the walkaround mode (MSFS2024), some of the pax are removed from their seats.
-
Just to clarify, you are seeing the weight of passengers be removed on the Black Square payload interface after entering/exiting the aircraft? That doesn't surprise me. The MSFS 2024 passenger payload features are spectacularly broken. I'll see if there is anything I can do.

@Black-Square Yes. The opposite happens when I unload all the passangers and then exit the aircraft. The weight of some passagens will be automatically added when I go back inside.

Happens with payload as well. So, everytime I use the walk-around mode, all the weights get set to a predetermined value.

I will look into these again, but I don't believe the copilot has ever worked in MSFS 2024. We've had a bug report on the developer support forums since release about this, but I don't think it's ever been fixed. I will be revisiting the MSFS 2024 payload system debacle shortly.

Any chance the PAX and payload can be saved between flights, or let us pick a favorite config? I'm always putting in the same values and it's a lot of clicking each time.

@SebAvi I recently saw a conversation with another plane dev that was also saying the 2024 copilot doesn't work right. They can put in their own model, but using the custom copilot has issues.

The fuel and passenger payload should already be saved and restored. Originally, I recall payload setting to be broken in MSFS 2020, but I had the code in all of my aircraft to do it anyway. I believe I have seen it working recently, but I wouldn't swear to it.
