    Hello,

I've recently started using the PMS50 GTN750, for a change, after many years of sticking to old school navigation. I've noticed that when toggling on the NEXRAD weather display in the GTN750, the radar picture from the Duke's own weather radar changes from a 'posterised' colouring of solid green/orange/red, to a 'dithered' effect which is more graduated.

This could be default MSFS 2020 behaviour as I understand the weather radar is baked in and not open to external programs, but as I only fly the Duke and one other aircraft with any regularity, I thought I'd ask here in case someone else had seen it before.

Here's the 'normal' appearance with NEXRAD disabled on the GTN750:

And after switching on NEXRAD, the sweep begins to change, even mid-sweep, as shown:

And it's the same with the vertical profile (showing a moiré pattern due to being VR screenshots, I think):

Any thoughts? It doesn't negative affect the experience any and it may not even relate to the Duke, but it is a strange cause & effect to see.

I have explored this behavior several times in an attempt to find answers for myself, and I have mentioned it to the PMS50 developer too. I have seen this behavior in other aircraft too, so I believe it to be something internal to the simulator that is out of my control. If I learn anything more about it and discover a solution, I will let you know as soon as I implement it.

Thanks Nick. It's one of those issues that I consider 'interesting' rather than 'annoying'. Whether it gets fixed or not, I'm glad it's not just me that has seen it. I'll not worry about it as it doesn't impact my enjoyment at all. I think you have a million more important things to attend to at present!
