Can anyone please try capturing a VOR and check if the CDI needle moves when changing radials?. For some reason that is not working for me, at least since sim patch 4. Problem seems to happen for me both on the analog gauge VOR2 and the EHSI. The GNS530 does shows bearing and distance so it's not a reception issue. Also tested with the C152, CDI needles moves fine there. Only happens for VOR so far, ADF seems to be fine and ILS also works.

Updating here in case someone bumps into this also. Clearing caches didn't help but eventually reinstalled the base sim files, that seems to fix the problem. Probably yet another sim glitch, perhaps due to the patch 4 install...looks like reinstalls are gonna be popular till things get settled enough.

    Hello @glideslope,
Thank you for your self reply. I'm having the same issue with yours after patch 4. Will you please be so nice and clairfy further what type of procedure you followed to solve the issue please? What do you mean to reinstall the base sim files? Thank you in advance!

    Hi @foresti ,
Basically it's a full reinstall. But If I recall correctly, that's the steps I did (or would do again). This all assumes store sim version paths.
I would suggest renaming the base sim folder at , i.e. "C:\XboxGames\Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024" to something like "C:\XboxGames\Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024_prev" in case you would to revert or compare the changes.
Also rename the user data path at "<user>\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.Limitless_8wekyb3d8bbwe" again to something like "AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.Limitless_8wekyb3d8bbwe_PREV" .
Then run the sim executable and it will setup and restore everything again. After installation I personally copy back some configurations from the user data folder that I tend to modify, i.e. simconnect.xml , FlightSimulator2024.CFG. It's very handy to keep the "prev" folders in case the cloud doesn't restore some files/configurations.
    Hope it helps!
