Cycling the flaps makes no sound. Everything else seems ok. Is this normal?

Unless you've observed a difference between the Piston Duke and Turbine Duke, then I suspect everything is behaving normally. I was quite surprised by how quiet the flap actuator was in the real aircraft.

Thanks for the reply, to me it seems a shame as it kinda makes it seem broken. I don't know why it took so long to notice it, I think I was flying some other aircraft lately that had great flap sounds (Kodiak 100) and came back to my fav Duke and thought somthing was wrong with my sound settings.

I discussed exactly this with my sound designer at the time. I often err on the side of the better user experience, whereas he errs on the side of realism. Neither is the correct approach, but I like to think that we provide a good balance for each other.

The flaps are very quiet inside the cabin of a duke. The turbine Duke is one of the quietest prop aircraft I have ever flown.
