I'm having the same issue since the last v1.2 update. Three out of four times loading into the sim with the TBM causes a CTD. The airport doesn't matter, runway or ramp, same result. Like the OP it happens a few consecutive times and then succeeds.

With the PMS GTN installed I get crashes when exiting the sim. With the 530 activated, I'm unable to load into the sim 50-75% of the time. I've been flying the TBM for a couple of releases and it's my favorite GA ac but the constant CTDs make it frustrating to attempt.

    Same dll error, CoherentGTCore.dll

@n6478p Sorry to hear about that. I was about to write some suggestions, but unfortunately, it seems that I have already given my suggestions in the second post in this topic. There must not be many users with this problem at the present time, because I haven't heard about it from the Just Flight tech support team. If you can't get anywhere by trying what I suggested in this topic, it might be worth creating a ticket with them. They have a knowledgebase for solving issues like this that goes beyond my expertise creating the aircraft.

        I had the same problem.
Was caused by a freeware airport addition.
Removed the airport and all fine.

That's.....odd to say the least. Which airport/creator?

And to anyone else having this issue, do you use Navigraph data? Having the PMS GTN in my Community folder is pretty clearly introducing some instabilities, I wonder if it's nav data related.

To BSQ - Thanks, I will try creating a ticket. The challenge sometimes is that "putting things back into your community folder one at a time" is sometimes too tedious to be viable when the CTD is transient. I generally find troubleshooting myself and crowdsourcing with the forums to be more fruitful but will give it shot!

I have this problem only when I load the aircraft on the runway. Always CTD.
When I load into a parking position, everything is fine.
I have the TDS-GNX and the PMS50. The aircraft reverts always to the TDS, even if I set the PMS50 in the tablet. So there is something strange going on, perhaps also related to the CTD.

Hello, I was having this problem and reached out to Just Flight support. I thought it might be helpful to share their reply here, as (as far as I can tell) I seem to have solved the problem by following some of their suggestions.

In my support ticket I had let them know that my Community folder was completely empty, and that I was getting CTD with Windows showing CoherentGTJS.dll or CoherentGTCore.dll as the cause of the crash. Of their suggestions below, I only did two things. I cleared the shader cache (Google how to do it, there are a few more steps than they describe) and I uninstalled and reinstalled all of the Visual C++ redistributable libraries (available from Microsoft, google it). I have not been getting CTDs any more (so far, and granted it was hit and miss when it was happening).

              Here's their full reply:

Crashes involving CoherentGTJS.dll or CoherentGTCore.dll are commonly reported in applications like Microsoft Flight Simulator (MSFS) and are typically related to UI rendering issues, as these DLLs are part of the Coherent GT UI middleware used for in-game interfaces.

The common causes for this issues are:

              • Memory corruption or heap allocation issues – These DLLs often crash due to corrupted memory pointers, especially when interacting with other mods or third-party content.

              • Outdated or incompatible GPU drivers – Many users report that updating or rolling back GPU drivers can resolve the issue.

              • Corrupted installation or cache – A fresh install of the game or clearing the shader cache sometimes helps.

              • Outdated Visual C++ Redistributables or DirectX – Ensuring all runtime libraries are up to date is essential.

Here are some steps you can try:

              1. Update GPU Drivers:
              • Use the latest stable version from NVIDIA/AMD.

              • If the issue started after an update, try rolling back to a previous version.

              1. Update Windows and Runtime Libraries:
              • Ensure Windows is fully updated.
              • Reinstall the latest Visual C++ Redistributables and DirectX.
              1. Clear Shader Cache:
              • For NVIDIA: Go to NVIDIA Control Panel → Manage 3D Settings → Shader Cache → Clear.

CTDs on loading the TBM 850 in MSFS 2020 are also a problem for me. I currently have 3 3rd party planes in my community folder (Milviz 310r, PA28 Arrow iii and the TBM 850). i also have the Spad bridge plus the PMS50 GTN750 plus the PMS GTN addon for the 310R.

If in the previous MSFS session I was using the PA28 or the 310R, when I start a new session, change to the TBM 850 and load into an airport, msfs crashes every time. However, if I first load the 310R or the PA28 into an airport and then return to the main menu to change planes, the TBM 850 will load into the airport every time.

If the last flight before restarting MSFS was with the TBM 850, the plane loads into the airport but the first time MSFS freezes when I click "Ready To Fly". Restart MSFS after that and there are no problems loading the TBM 850 unless I change planes again.

I really enjoy this plane and have persisted in finding out what works for me and what doesn't. Hope this is of use to someone else having this problem.

My guess it is the PMS GTN 750. Try loading it without that and see what happens.

@bYes. I removed the PMS GTN 750 and you are right this eliminates the CTDs. I also found that the TDS GTNxi causes the same crashes. Tried loading with the GTN 530 selected instead and then switching to the GTN 750 and so far this seems to work. Just have to remember to switch back before returning to the main menu. Thanks for the suggestion.obsk8

I assume you've updated both to the latest versions? I obviously test with both enabled 100% of the time, and haven't had a GTN related CTD in several years.

@Black-Square This PMS GTN issue has been reported at different times on different forums. I just restart the sim, and the second time and subsequent times it always loads normally.
