    For whatever reason, MSFS does not accept the registration number I like to use in the customization menu. Is there a way to manually change the registration numbers somewhere in the files within the addon folder itself? Thank you.

      Have you tried entering it twice? Mine always reverts the first time, but the second time it takes it.

        @fdrake

        What are you using?
        There is a 8 character limit I think.
        Assuming you are using legal letter and numbers

        you can change it in the aircraft.cfg file...

        C:\Users*yourusername*\AppData\Local\packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\Packages\Community\bksq-aircraft-pistonduke\SimObjects\Airplanes\bksq-aircraft-stockduke

        open the aircraft.cfg file with Notepad find the atc_id = line and put your number in quotes
        i.e.

        atc_id = "NmyREG"

          N1930G. It doesn't take it at all no matter how much I try. My best guess is that whatever aggressive censorship algorithm Microsoft has implemented thinks that N193 looks like the first few letters in a certain word that they don't want to allow, but just a wild guess. It accepts N1903G.

          Your workaround worked though! Thanks.
