We'll bring more news about the release date later this week. Thank you.
Can we consider today as later this week? :)
JK, looking very much forward to the Dukes! -
@Rhinozherous Sorry, yes we posted this news about the release, sorry for the delay.

Thank you!

So on last development update from the MSFS team sim update 15 is targeting to be release on April 30th , any ideas how long after that the duke will be released?
-
While they are still two weeks away, are you planning to make additional videos or giving preview version to popular youtubers? Would like to see something about the flight model.
Are you releasing them at the 30. along with SU 15? -
I need at least a day or two to test with SU15, but we are planning to release very shortly thereafter. Asobo often sneaks in last-minute changes with the public version of the sim update that didn't appear in the beta builds, so I always have to be careful.
Unfortunately, we were supposed to go right from the YouTube videos to the YouTube/Twitch previewers without this big gap, but the SU15 delay put a stop to that. We are planning on getting the preview build to some reviewers before SU15 in about a week. I would love to demonstrate the aerodynamics, but my beta testers and I were unable to come up with a compelling way of showing off something so subjective on video. I could simply demonstrate the aircraft performing within 2% of the POH values in various maneuvers, but that doesn't make for a very exciting video. If you have any ideas, I'm all ears. Thanks for asking!
-
Yep, sounds legit... It's hard to demonstrate that in a video.
Doesn't matter anyway, because none of your other planes ever disappointed me and you can "shut up and take my money". 😄😍 -

Actually, that sounds pretty interesting! Or maybe you have someone who've been flying it in real life? Asobo made some interesting videos like this while discussing their new CFD-system a year or so ago.
-
Finally Asobo gets his... moving. Lets hope for not another delay by them. Looking forward to this awesome module!

Ugh. Another delay for SU15 … now it’s slated for sometime in the second week of May. Which means more delay for the Dukes, too, I assume. Maybe I’d better just put the yoke back on the bookshelf for now.
-
hmpf… that‘s a bummer. 🙁
-
We'll be checking what this means to the release date and we'll reply back here when we have a better idea. We'll do what we can to ensure the Duke delay isn't too lengthy.
-
That would be great. I wouldn’t mind if something is not working 100% until SU15, but I can’t wait to get my hands on that baby.
-
Even before the latest disappointing news I did wonder whether, if the initial delay was solely due to the ground physics, we could have an initial release with stock and then get the enhanced behaviours in the (likely to be one anyway) patch later.
I suspect it's not that easy (never is) but I can dream :-)
-
A pre-release that requires SU15 beta could be interesting... ?
-
The original delay statement was phrased as a "suggestion from the Beta team" not that the product was hard locked to SU15.
To be clear - I'm not in petulant simmer mode here, merely inquiring gently whether it could be decoupled as an interim.
-
Indeed, I would have elected to release the Dukes by now if the ground handling physics were the only consideration. Unfortunately, the issue lies with the unresolved bug in the Working Title GNS 530 that was introduced last December. Currently, the only solution is to edit the files on your computer, which I thought was an unacceptable solution for the newcomers to that might be joining us with the Duke. You can read my full statement here.
I'm sure this is disappointing to some of you here, because you are likely already familiar with this bug, and ready to enjoy the Dukes. Sadly, these are the considerations we must make when selling a product to a broad audience of users of all different experience levels. Thank you all for waiting!
-
Pssst... I can sneak you the money under the table and don't mind to fix this myself or ignore it complety because I will surely use your KLN-90B or no GPS at all, because I love your KNS-81 implementation.
I mean... the are so many avionics options, you could put a warning on the description that this is only working after SU15. 👉👈🥺
