Autopilot announciator not illuminating King Air 350
-
@spelaez8019 see below the precise location for the pilot's annunciator panel (highlighted in green)
There's a known error code that is preventing the Yaw Damper to be displayed in this annunciator panel, refer to the link below to get the YD fix

@spelaez8019 I've had that very same issue when starting from cold and dark.
I somehow got out of it by spawning the plane powered up on a runway in a default livery. At that point, the AP annunciators on the pedestal as well as the selector on the dasboard and the external temperature gauge on the left side were lit up and working. After exiting to the main menu and then restarting the sim, the plane worked as it should form a cold start following the checklist.

@anderson Thanks, but I do know which one is the annunciator panel, what I was saying is that neither the one you highlighted in green nor the one on the center pedestal was illuminating, that second photo I uploaded was talking about the NAV/GPS selector.
Thanks for the YD fix!

@spelaez8019 are you still experiencing the annunciator panel issue?
-
@anderson Yes sir I am, the YD fixed did its thing fixing its announciatior, but it is just showing up on the regual announciator, as on the pic below
But either on the one on this second pic or in the regular autopilot panel on the center pedestal its the same, not showing nothing at all

From the developer himself:
'I checked the code on this, and there is no reason the two panels should ever become unsynced except if the circuit breaker for that panel trips. Check the 1 amp circuit breaker labeled "AP ANN" in the bottom left-hand corner of the Avionics block of the circuit breaker panel. If it has tripped, it can be momentarily reset by hand, and the failure can be reset from the weather radar interface. If that's not the problem, then it's just one of those lovely MSFS animation glitches that us developers know so well.'

I have a suspicion that this may be related to the PMS50 GTN750, maybe in combination with the WT itegration addon provided by PMS50. I recently had that issue again, and the GTN750 didn't power up either. Restarting the flight made both the 750 and the annunciators work.
There's a number of moving parts in that scenario.
-
@laurreth you are absolutely right. It's important to install all addons needed for PMS GTN 750 to work correctly.
The KA requires all 3 addons below installed (and updated as required)PMS GTN 750
WT GNS530 Compatibility
In-cockpit bezel - WTT Mode
I love the KA and it's working just fine with these 3 addons installed.
-
@anderson I have those three and still ran into the issue. I just also had a perfectly workable flight without changing anything.
The bad thing is that avionics only regularly come on way into the checklist, so by the time you know if it works, it's a real bummer. For now I guess I'll just spin them up early to see what's going on, easy enough workaround.

@anderson are you trying to take away my Air Inuit livery cruising down the Adria? 😂
I am using custom skins and frankly my community folder qualifies as "disgusting", but given a choice between restarting the entire sim for a day to track down a sporadic issue and just restarting a flight every now and then, I think I'll stick to the latter and hope for the best :-) I'll take a look if the livery does anything other than replacing optics.
