KingAir 350i - Avionics Master Switch
-
Dear all
Anderson has proposed a way to manage the Avionics Master Switch as follows:
Switch ON
and...
Switch OFF
and...
.
According to the developpers, it is really important to use "AnalogKingAir.xml" file located on "Community\bksq-aircraft-analogkingair\SimObjects\Airplanes\bksq-aircraft-analogkingair\model".
In this file, I found
In this routine, we see why Anderson used VAR_AVIONICSMASTERSWITCH and ELECTRICAL_BUS_TO_CONNECTION_TOGGLE and and we find the values 17/4, 19/2 and 21/3
-
BUT I still have some pending questions which are:
1/ Why do we need to use "ELECTRICAL_CIRCUIT_TOGGLE"?
2/ Where does the value "131" come from?
3/ What is the logic to manage 2 events (equal and unequal) for each position (Swicth On & Switch Off)
Thank you by advance for your support.

@meh1951 Yes it is working. You need to follow process step by step and check if you do not have any mistake

@olivier-a you are correct. I got these values from both the xml file and the events page in Spad.Next. I recommend you use both when trying to find the correct key mapping. It will save you some time for sure.
I have almost all the panel switches/knobs mapped for the KA, there are still a few I still could not find the proper key mapping or the key mapping does the function expected but not the correspondent movement of that knob/switch in the cockpit, like the fuel switch - for instance.
I love this aircraft and I do hope the developer addresses these key mapping improvements in a future version. -

Thanks

Phill Dant@prdant disregard the condition, it's specific to the hardware I use. You must replace it to whatever button/switch from your hardware you want to bind to this specific function.
