Coming from the C310R, I know that proper state saving and wear an tear can give you a real sense of ownership. I was hoping that I could find that too with the BlackSquare Baron.

But there is so much stuff that is still missing. The lever positions, C/F settings of the engine monitor and other stuff would be nice, but the fuel is kind of a bummer. When starting cold and dark the fuel is always be back at the default 50%, makes refueling between flights pointless.

@lemny Some words from the dev on this Lemmy:

Thanks for the feedback. A lot of people have been requesting payload and fuel saving, and I think I found a robust method to do this over the weekend. Expect fuel and payload saving in a future update!

    Hope that helps.

@voice-of-reason Wow, very cool… looking forward to this. :-)
You guys pushed the bar of GA study level quite a bit. After only flying the C310R since it‘s release, I never thought I would prefer another aircraft over it. But in fact, with your Baron mod, now I do. The sense of ownership was one of the main reasons for me to stick to one plane for such a long time. And with the turbos, pressurization, radar alt, engine monitor with lean assist and tip tanks, I love the complexity… the more the better. :-)

PS: I love your implementation of the KNS-81 RNAV. You nailed it.
