There are some very hazardous taxiways at KDEN...

@retiredman93231 That's just a pre-takeoff brake test (or engine test, depending on the way you're going).

I've seen similar things at KBWI but I have other third-party content for that airport too, and the issue only appears when both are installed. Do you have any other third-party stuff installed for KDEN?

@n293wk I have no other KDEN updates installed... only Real Taxiways. But this could just be a MSFS bug that is also present without Real Taxiways.

It appears to be a bug only in Real Taxiways... Here is the same taxiway without Real Taxiways installed.

@retiredman93231 I have real taxiways installed and I see exactly what you have in the second picture. A mild ramp but nothing crazy like your first picture. That is if I'm correct in assuming this is at the intersection of taxiways ED and L.

@retiredman93231 While I don't have the issue at KDEN, I did have issues at KBWI. After some poking around I found an option called "applyFlatten" which is enabled for all airports (or at least the ones I've checked) in Real Taxiways. Setting this to false removed the elevation issues.

I'm not sure why they enabled it in the first place, but in my limited testing so far I haven't seen any negative effects of disabling it.

To disable it, set the byte at address 0xdf** in the .bgl file to 0 (the option is controlled only by bit 0, but as the value was initially 0x01, it was the only bit set).

**NOTE: I don't know if that offset is the same for all the files, but it was the case for KDEN and KBWI. Though it should be, since I think everything before it is fixed-size.

@n293wk Yes, that is the correct taxiway intersection (ED and L), and I am using the installation file version "Install_BKSQ_US_BCDE_MSFS_1.0.0.exe"... What do you have installed? Does a screen shot from your system of that intersection look the same if you temporarily move the bksq_us_bcde file from your Community folder? Also, did you re-install it after SU7?

@retiredman93231 Here is an empty community folder:

                    alt text

and here is with only bksq installed:

                    alt text

Sorry for the washed-out color, I got an HDR monitor recently and haven't figured out how to take screenshots properly yet. Also, I have put the textures into the fs-base directory which is why the taxiway signs look like the bksq ones.

Both have the slight ramp, but nothing out of the ordinary.

@n293wk Where are the 3 yellow lines down the center of the taxiway...? Never mind, I think I can faintly see one if I look closely...

Try using Windows 10 Snip and Sketch app to take your screen shots. Just press [SHIFT] + [Windows] + [S] to open it, then select the type of screen shot from the menu at the top.... Then just click on the image that is copied to the clipboard and then save it.

@retiredman93231 Ah, snip and sketch looks a lot better, thanks for the suggestion!
