@coolgovind180 Your best bet would be to contact Just Flight support. They should be able to help with this kind of thing.

Our installers used to use IE but now that is dead they use Edge. It should be a standard component in Windows.

It IS a simple installer - that's why it uses a browser that's already on your PC and you don't have to install something first before you can install the software you've bought. IE is no longer installed as a default in Windows - MS has discontinued it and whenever you click on it these days you get a warning message from MS that it is no longer supported and recommending you use Edge.

IE will be a non-person 15th June next year. In the meantime, MS are doing everything they can to ensure it is unusable, hence why we switched browsers a while ago.

SO i am expecting the developer to come with a solution. I am trying everything to install edge in my system..but its not happenign at all.

I have windows 7 pc and its clearly mentioned windows 7 is supported by treaffic global.

Windows 7 is the problem, I suspect. That is definitely dead and I thought we'd done a blanket removal of Win 7 references from all our titles. If it is still on TG then it needs removing and I'll get that fixed now. In theory it should work, but as Win 7 was killed off in January 2020 it is always going to be a problem on a small number of legacy systems.

well..I purchased seeing it is compatible with windows 7..moreover traffic global for fsx /p3d is also comaptible for fsx...and fsx works great in windows 7...i know that windows 7 support is ended..but as a buyer of this add on..there must be some way the developer can get the installer to work with windows 7 either using IE11 or some other way. I would like to get this installed and request kindly to give a solution.

Support will do their best to help you, but if you can't get Edge to run then you are snookered. See what they say.

well in the case if the support people cant get to make their installer work in my pc at all in any way.,,,then i would be left with no other option but to ask for a refund as I cant have an add on with me which i am unable to use and spent quite a considerable money,.

please understand if that is the case that support people cant help me.

But i am quite positive there would be a way thereby they can get the installer work with IE11 like how it was before.

It doesn't use IE11 so there is no way to make it work with IE11 (or earlier). However, it should work with Win7/Edge, so if they can get Edge to work for you then TG will work. If not, then we'd supply a refund.

That sounds very reasonable. I am trying everything to get edge working in my pc. I haev also contacted micosoft and they are also at a loss. I am just waiting for the TG developer to get back to me getting a confirmation of if there is any way to get this installer work. If no...please issue me a refund as i am left with no other option.

As I said at the start of the thread, your best bet is always to contact Just Flight support if you have problems with the software. You have contacted support and they will resolve the matter for you one way or another.

@coolgovind180 said in Cant install (microsoft webviewer runtime error):

I have ofocurse contacted them and waiting for a response from them.hope they give a response soon.

You said earlier in the thread:

"I have contacted just flight support and they will do somethign to make it work with IE or something ..but as of now...its not installing in my pc and it needs edge and edge is not installing in my pc. they tried everythig...."

So, hopefully that means they have responded and are trying to fix your problem.

last message that they sent was:

"Regarding: Traffic Global (for P3D & FSX)
Yes, I will have to wait until the developer come back to me to suggest how to get it working for you. This will likely be tomorrow now since officially we closed for today at 5pm (its now near 7pm)".

This is what one of the developer sent me last..and after this no response from them until now regarding this.
