Is there a way to insert a waypoint into your current flight plan using the cursor?

I tried looking for an option to add a custom waypoint using the cursor between existing waypoints in your flight plan, while you're in flight. When I click on a waypoint it's supposed to let you insert one, but you have to type it by name. I'm not sure if it's possible to use the cursor at this point and pick your cursor as the waypoint?

Oh never mind I guess it has to be an existing waypoint, not a custom one.
