Problem starting amphib variant on water

I’ve run into an issue where when msfs 2024 starts with the aircraft on the water with the engine started and running. Once in cockpit the engine immediately starts shutting down and can’t be properly restarted without going into the engine page on the tablet and selecting repair.
I’ve tried everything I can think of and can’t figure out what’s causing this when starting the amphib variant on a water port.
The other wheeled variants have no issue, just the one on the water.

I had another user report this a while back, but I believe it was resolved. Can you double check that you have the most up-to-date version of the Caravan, please?

Update - Just went through everything again, made sure my physical default control positions matched the proper pt6 “just started” state and everything worked as expected, no abnormal issues. I restarted everything and went through it a few more times and everything worked correctly.
For now the problem now seems resolved for me.
